Great Place of Business - Edit

I don't know what that person giving one star is talking about. I've been going here since I moved to Chesterland about six years ago now on an almost monthly basis. The staff, and especially the owner has been nothing but courteous, friendly and helpful every time I've ever been here. I've always considered my coffee fresh and great from here, whether it be roasted that day or next day(from most of the time I can remember) or a few extra days. 10 days on one occasion?! For shame, they should be flogged with the cat o' nine tails!! Coffee isn't even supposed to be used for a day or two after roasting anyways, is it? For a caring person on a vegan site, I would think you would give a little leeway and not be wasteful to that extreme. Maybe they should just give their "muffin bottoms" (Seinfeld ref)to the homeless! Chillax reviewer. Maybe you should try some decaf.

Horrible Customer Service - Edit

This was my 4th and last time going to this store. The reason for shopping at a local roaster is to purchase fresh beans, like a couple of days old fresh. I was sold beans that, as per the date on the bag, were roasted 10 days ago. When it comes to coffee beans that’s not fresh, especially at $20 a pound. Additionally, the owner of this establishment apparently believes it’s okay to treat his patrons very poorly (even yelling at them). When asked why he was so rude, he replied, “You want to know why I’m so rude? Because it’s my business!” I hope the owner learns to treat his patrons with respect in the future. Very unhappy customer here, and I DO NOT recommend Fig Leaf Coffee Company based solely on the way the owner treats his customers.

Fresh roasted coffee - Edit

This business is strictly coffee beans and custom-ground coffee to go. Customers can also have orders shipped or they can pre-order and pick up the prepaid order. Service is excellent; staff will answer questions about coffee strength and what fineness or coarseness of grind to get.
