Delicious and filling

The menu has a vegetarian section with six options. Wait staff was very friendly and accommodating, and seemed very used to leaving out the dairy components. Also had no problem making another substitution because of a food sensitivity. Chips and salsa arrive at the table immediately, and a refill was willingly supplied. The delicious vegetarian burrito contained broccoli, cauliflower, peppers, mushrooms, carrots, and zucchini, and the whole beans were mixed with tomatoes for a delicious combination, made especially good when mixed with the accompanying rice. There is also a choice of three kinds of hot sauce on each table: Cholula, Tapatio, and Tabasco. They also have a bar menu offering 15 different brands of tequila as well as other spirits, beer and wine. The decor is colorful and festive, as the name of the restaurant implies. The booths were comfortable and there was a nice amount of fresh air coming in (summer time). Parking on the side and back of the building seemed adequate. I will be eating here again the next time I pass through Woodland Park!

Never got called for our table. Rude hostess.

We went on Saturday for dinner and were told approx 20 mins. for a table. We were told not to wait inside or near the door but she’d phone us when our table became available. I kept checking my phone. Nothing. Finally after 50 mins I went back inside and she said that she called everyone on the list and no one answered which happens often. There is poor mobile service in their parking lot and surrounding area. She never mentioned this when she took my mobile number. We asked how long now and she kept saying she didn’t know. No guess even. No apology. Nothing. We were starving and went elsewhere. Really poor customer service.

Pros: Good Vegan/Veg options, Outdoor seating, Taking Covid-19 precautions seriously

Cons: Incompetent hostess, Rude hostess, We didn’t get to eat here.

The Staff Knew!

Walking in, we asked the hostess, "This is a weird question, but your beans, are they-" And she answered that the refried beans had animal product, the whole beans did not. When we were ordering, I remembered to say no sour cream, and the waitress clarified if I wanted any dairy at all, including cheese. The staff have heard these questions before, they knew what to do, it was a wonderful experience during our mountain excursion.

Pros: Knowledgeable/Friendly Staff, Great food, good portions

Cons: Small parking lot, Small dining room
