Give them a call before going... - Edit
Give Fertile Underground a call before stopping by. The one constant with the cafe portion of this shop over the years (they do have meat in the store) has been change. The window says "vegetarian cafe" but on my last visit the menu was self serve "vegan" chili (which had honey) and bagels.

Love this little place! - Edit
This is a nice place to grab coffee, a smoothie, a salad or a sandwich to go or to have there. Good selection of local and organic produce and groceries. Friendly and knowledgeable staff.
