Middle Eastern
Lebanese
Pure Lebanese vegetarian restaurant offers a very wide variety of vegan dishes carefully prepared & freshly made-in-house. Not to be confused with the restaurant of the same name at Passeig Sant Antoni 9. Reported closed October 2022.

Nice - Edit
I really loved the vegetal ( a plate with vegetarian recipes such as hummus, tabbouleh, falafel, moussaka, etc). The prices are ok, not expensive at all.

We unfortunately found it closed on 01/10/21 at 18h. Don’t know if the opening times reported are wrong or if it’s permanently closed, but there are other vegetarian friendly middle eastern restaurant just nearby with vegan options.

Bien pero no para tirar cohetes. - Edit

They share the kitchen and my dish contained meat. SHAME.

Hidden gem near Sants station - Edit
Very nice restaurant (do not mistake with non-vegetarian Fenicia!!) with lots of vegan options marked on the menu, except for dessert.
Read moreAll food was amazing and the portions were big. We paid around 23€ for two people with drinks and even took some leftovers home! I really want to come back and try everything I have left!!
The only thing that weirded me out from the beginning was the fact that on the TV they were playing some documentary with tons of meat in it. I guess it must have been a mistake but was weird nonetheless.
Pros: Many vegan options, Delicious food, Spacious
Cons: No vegan dessert

Amazing Arab dishes dirt cheap - Edit
The vegan options were almost half the menu, food was delicious and had really good value (most dishes were between 5-8€ and were big servings). Hummus was one of the best I've had, pitas were crispy with tasty fillings, and the soy, pea and carrots stew with rice was so comforting... We ate until we couldn't have more and had enough leftovers for a full one person meal for 25 €.
Read moreMy only grip is that there weren't any vegan desserts, only thing that was missing :(
Pros: Almost half of the menu was vegan, Cheap , Enormous servings

From the Lebanon. The Lebanon - Edit
Exceptional Lebanese veggie / vegan food. Massively vegan friendly. The hummus is criminally amazing. Proper smooth hummus with no bits other than some diced tomato and cucumber topping. The accompanying pitta breads were perfect. Crispy, fragrant and freshly fried falafel were possibly the best I’ve ever had. We also had another hot appetiser, the foul mudammas! This was an amazing spicy fava bean casserole dish rather like a hearty soup. It was amazing. Honestly outstanding. These guys know what the score is. As it happened it was 2-0 to Barcelona later that evening. Fully fed and wined for €23. Bonanza!!

Less good than expected here - at Veggie Fenicia - Edit
Whilst it's great that the restaurant is all veggie, many of the dishes we had didn't really compare with the same we've had in many other places. A real mixture, from some good hummous to some fairly tasteless balls of cheap falafel.
Read moreA bright and clean place, but at the same time a bit stark and not really somewhere to spend a great deal of time. We probably wouldn't go back unless we happened to be passing and hungry. If they upped the quality of the food then this could be a great small place.
Pros: Clean, Bright, Economical
Cons: Mixed quality of dishes, Poor falafels

Yes! - Edit
This place is excellent! They really have their spices down, everything tasted fresh and delicious. Almost everything is vegan, or available in a vegan version. Loved the salad, falafel and lentil soup. We were super full after our meal, but couldn't resist getting an assortment of their vegan baklava (made with syrup instead of honey) to go. Yes!

Yes, if you have nothing else. - Edit
We went to Fenicia Vegetaria for an early dinner and had falafel, various dips, tabouleh, and some of the many other small items that come with the different plates. Everything is clearly marked as vegan, gluten free etc. It was all perfectly edible, but allow me to put it plainly: far from really good or outstanding. Sure, the falafel was fine, but the flavours simply were not there. Similarly for most of the other options. And it's not cheap. Compared to other restaurants - Middle Eastern or not - of that price range, it simply is not good enough. But of course, if you arrive at the station and are in need of vegetarian/vegan food, by all means, go.

Meh - Edit
No English menu (at least we didn't get one, or they just hadn't translated or explained what the dishes were, just listing up the main ingredients beneath), so we had to guess what was what. We ended up ordering some kind of stew with dry uncle Ben-ish rice (which might be the Lebanese type rice, I guess - but I can't stand it) ... The stew was good enough. The locale could be made cozier. And on the TV right in front of me, they were preparing meat...

As the CEO of Fenicia Vegetaria,I am quiet surprised by your comment.
Read moreFenicia Vegetaria is a new concept and it is true that we dont have yet english menu but all our waiters speak english.
Our rice is Lebanese style,we dont serve uncle bens rice (altough is it a great brand),our rice is a pure white rice.
We appreciate your opinion about the locale,we made it this way and we think that the decor is very suitable for a Lebaneee vegetarian,we are truly sorry if our taste does not meet yours.
We have 2 sets of televisions and we would have been more than happy to change the channel if the dish was not appropriate but you did not tell us so.
So,basically I cannot find the reason of the low rate that you gave us.
Thank you
