good food for a good cause - Edit

My mom and I went to this cafe fairly soon after it opened up, and it's still kind of finding itself. But I cannot begin to describe how delicious the charred cauliflower pate with grilled sourdough was! Absolutely bursting with flavor and everything is local! I also really like how they donate one meal for every meal purchased. My mom got the ratatouille (just ask for it without cheese) and it needed a little more seasoning, but it wasn't bad. The food does tend to be a bit on the oily side, but I'm sure they might be able to tone down the oil if you asked. The different slaws are also delicious! There's also a fireplace inside, for extra cozy dining

Pros: Humanitarian cause, plenty of seating options, local, organic ingredients and made from scratch

Cons: food can be a bit oily, needs a little more flavor, waitress didn't know what vegan meant, yikes
