One of my favourites on the Gold Coast! Worth the detour if you're in the area. I always stop by when I visit from Melbourne. The burger with the lot can't be beat! Reminds me of the burgers I used to eat as a kid. So sad to hear they're closing up 😪

Ventured to the Burleigh store today with my non vegan friend whom I didn’t advise that it was plant based. Based on the “so hows burger” questioning it got a 10/10 and he assumed it was real meat. Super happy with this outcome. As a vegan - I found this place delicious for that takeaway comfort food we all seek sometimes. Decently priced for two people for the quality of food. Definitely would return.

Best burgers on the Gold Coast - Edit
This place is AMAZING! I’ve tried the cheeseburger and the lot burger. The bun, patty and toppings have been absolutely perfect and reasonably priced with a free side of chips. Can’t wait to go back and try the whole menu. Meat eating friend loved it too.

I highly rate their cheeseburgers! In our experience, the Burleigh shop is higher quality than their Broadbeach location (their buns and chips seem better). Unfortunately the pizzas can be dry and lack sauce.

I ordered this with Deliveroo for myself and my mum who is not vegan and she thought she was getting a non vegan burger and I was getting a vegan one any way after we ate them my mum said that was the best burger I have had in my life and I told her it was vegan and she still doesn’t believe me 😂 hands down best burger ever !

I honestly feel that charging $20 for a burger with a slice of thick, under ripe tomato, sprinkling of soggy iceberg lettuce, a chickn’ pattie and the smallest bit of mayo is just pathetic.
Read moreUndercooked chips didn’t make it any better either. In Sydney or Melbourne this place wouldn’t survive a week, but here on the coast I guess standards aren’t as high.
With the prices I put them in direct comparison with burger places like Soul Burger in Sydney where the burgers are simply amazing and worth the splurge.
Hopefully they lift their game at Burleigh or I can’t see people returning, myself and the friends I was with won’t be.

After a long drive from down south these burgers were an incredible welcome to the Gold Coast. The staff were very accomodating to our allergies and quick in service. We both ordered "the lot" burgers and milkshakes. Its very easy to see how this t/a has earnt the acknowledgements it has received. 10/10 :)

I was convinced to go for their award winning “Burger with the lot” but it was fairly small and missed two key ingredients, pineapple and grilled onion!! On notifying the staff, they didn’t seem to be too bothered as they’re new and still learning!!

There's a certain breed of distinctively Australian food place, the 'tuck shop'. It doesn't do fancy. It throws cheap food at you, usually fish and or burgers, pies, and chips. It's filling and convenient and cheap.

It ain't cheap, that's for sure. Prices are fairly high for this class of food; burgers, pizza, chips. Expect to shell out around twenty bucks for a meal.
But know this: It's worth it.
The works burger won the gold coast's best burger award — Competing against meat burgers to pick it up. And it's not hard to see why: The filling is ludicrously crumbly, chewy goodness with a smoky flavour that's to die for. Trying the pizza isn't quite on that level, but it's still very damn good, and the chips are honestly perfect.
This is an upscale casual joint masquerading as a tuck shop, and I love it to death.

On my first visit, I was given a VIP 25% off card for every order this year. I ordered the cheeseburger with fries, and couldn't have been more impressed. I've never had that burger experience, so to savour every bite here was a luxury.
Read moreWhen I returned and my burger wasn't so great, the family-run business posted about some hardship on their Facebook page - leaving the unexperienced ones to man the grill. After speaking with the owners about it, you can see the passion and genuine spirit behind the business which makes it my favourite vegan takeout I've ever been to.
This is junk food and gluttony at its purest. If I lived at the coast I would take all my non-vegan friends there daily. The prices aren't even a factor when the experience is so worth it.

We Absolutely love this place! The pizza is so juicy and flavoursome! The owners are beautiful, friendly people. The decor is not cool in the slightest which makes it cool... if that makes sense?! The burger patties are home made and delicious!! Even the hot chips are tasty! I can't recommend this place enough!!

The food here is amazing and cheaper than a lot of competition. But on two out of two occasions I have visited the store I was unable to order multiple menu items due to them being out of stock. This was disappointing as I wanted to try them and would of spent more money! Also the decor, signage and overall look is a little low budget and not up to the standards of a lot of other non-vegan take away places in the area. Its a shame as I feel a lot of non-vegans would be more enticed to enter and try the food if the place had a bit more of a modern (not such a low budget) look and atmosphere. Overall I was very happy with the food I tried and would definitely go here again.

The best vegan burger you will ever have! We ordered the works burger, which comes with a juicy incredibly meat like beef patty, and all the usual Australian burger add-ons ( beetroot, lettuce, tomato, cheese and pineapple). Additionally, we tried the churros which crispy on the outside and deliciously doughy on the inside- Delicious! Overall 10/10 would recommend.

I got take away from Feed the Earthlings for the first time today. It was a burger with the lot which is served with fries.

It was cooked to perfection and satisfying when I was looking for a good take away burger.
The chips were soft on the inside and a little crispy on the outside.
