Really good but watch spice level - Edit
This restaurant is a really good vegan find in Salt Lake City. The selection of food items is unbeatable and the interior of the restaurant is charming and welcoming. In other words eating there is a great option if you’re tired of to go and food delivery services. I ordered the ginger stir fry, made vegan with extra veggies, tofu. I specified a medium spice level,(they offer mild, medium and hot.) Maybe it was the chef on that particular day, but the medium spice level was so hot it was barely edible. I’m not a “bland spice” gal but honestly medium was over the top hot so be really careful when choosing your spice level. Honestly they ought to offer numerical spice levels (1-5), so there is an option of controlling the spice level to some degree without going bland. Also, worth mentioning, the tofu in the dish came fried, which was fine, but if you prefer you can specify steamed and not fried and get it that way. Another thing to mention which might be helpful to some, because I follow the whole food plant based way of eating with minimal of any oil added, I requested no oil in the stir fry dish and it actually was made with no oil but a nice veggie broth that was flavorful- although too spicy, instead. Overall this is a great vegan find and definitely worth a visit- just be mindful of the spice levels on some of the dishes.

One of my absolute favorite Thai places in Salt Lake! Lots of vegan options, super delish and their staff is very friendly. My husband and I order here regularly — my personal fave is their Khao Soy with extra Tofu.

Great Vegan Thai Options - Edit
If HappyCow allowed 5 stars for restaurants that also serve meat, I would give Fav Bistro 5 stars. Delicious Thai food. Friendly service every time we have ordered their food. They are knowledgeable about vegan food and will happily make almost any dish vegan.

We were seated and given menus, but then we were left alone for 35 minutes! We watched other people that arrived after us get their drinks right away, but no one came to our table. My friend finally stood up and walked over to ask about it. Our server finally came and took our drink order and our food order which consisted of 1 spring roll appetizer and 1 order of vegetable tempura that we shared, but the drinks didn't come for another 15 minutes. We were watching our server filling water pitchers that weren't needed, and doing side work....but not bringing us our drinks. When we finally got our drinks, we told her we needed sweeteners and lemon, and she never brought them. We had to flag down another server to bring it to us. When we got our food, we asked for extra dipping sauce, and she never brought it., and never came back. We finished the food without it. We had to flag down the same girl that helped us before to get our check, because our server never showed up. She only came to collect the money. The whole time we were there we could see our server doing other things, but completely ignoring us. Worst service ever! We arrived at 6:15, but couldn't leave until 7:42, and it wasn't even very busy. Such a shame because the food was really delicious! The girl that helped us when we flagged her down apologized, but our server did not....so she did not get a tip.

We have been here three times, every time was delicious. Good service. Sat outside in the evening and was pleasant. We will be back.
