Sehr gutes Essen mit guter veganer Auswahl - Edit
Bester Service auf Penida. Man bekommt kostenloses Wasser mit Gurkengeschmack und Baguette. Wasser wird kostenlos nachgefüllt und man wird komplett umsorgt. Essen hat auch sehr gut geschmeckt, würde jederzeit wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für das Erlebnis.

Super nice place, very friendly owners, and the vegan food is very (!!) good. We had one of the best vegan mozzarella here. I really hope they go all vegan soon.

and asked waiter for drinks first. He brought drinks and I asked about food. Also said I love noodles but it looks like they served instant noodles. It was a question. He raised his voice, said I’m blind and said he will not serve me. He put drink back at tray. I said fine. I’ll report the behavior.
Read moreAfter I left to my place he follow me in the narrow street, threw the tray on the ground and spoke with me like a criminal. See the video. He brought me to the deep stress. He yelling at me at threaten. I said I have to call police. He said he have friends in police (Later in police no one proved he is friend of him). Eg, Thailand have tourist police. Here I called different numbers with no luck. He said I’m a b**th in the end. Lovely place, nothin to say. Lately in police he started create a stories like I came and been rude with him. I requested at police to make a drug test of guy due his uncontrolled agression. How dare is he speaking this way with ppl. Looks like poor boy hating tourists, hating women and who on earth allowed him to work with ppl? He is completely mental and his place in jail.
I found here completely poor situation with customer service. I have no idea what is in the head of this ppl. Like a hospitality worker the whole of my life I just shocked. Indonesia it’s not a safety place to travel a lady alone, and Penida not safety with ppl like that

This was hands down the best meal we had in Nusa Penida. We got the tempeh croquettes as a starter and the pesto gnocchi as mains and both dishes were incredible! The staff was really friendly and attentive and the drinks were lovely too.

I had the stuffed peppers, Tempe croquet and the infamous gnocchi.
All were delicious and full of flavour.
My partner (not vegan) and I both agreed it was the best food we had on Nusa. Unfortunately we discovered it on our last night, otherwise we’d have been in there for every meal.

I will say that the food was not perfect; however, we still want to rate it with full stars, and here‘s why: the atmosphere is very cute, the staff was very friendly, they try to not use plastic, they give free water immediately upon arrival (we had to beg for water at all other places on penida), the service is on point and the prices are fair. AND the biggest point, they have some really interesting vegan options, that we didn’t see before!
Read moreNow, the food: I would suggest to change the vegan cheese, it was tasteless and not good at all. The pad thai was too sweet (taste like ketchup) and for the gnocchi’s (which we really loved!) it would be a big bonus to add some nuts or seeds (pumpkin seeds, walnuts..) to add some crunchiness and protein.

I had the stuffed peppers for a starter and they were absolutely delicious, but my gnocchi was really not as good as everyone made it out to be and I was pretty disappointed. It had the wrong consistency and the flavour was just kind of odd. Lovely staff and unlimited water, which were two big bonuses! Was expecting to be blown away and just wasn’t. I didn’t really enjoy sitting inside an air conditioned restaurant either, just wasn’t the kind of place I come on holiday to go, but if you need a bit of air con on a hot day then a good place to get some!

The husband and wife duo were amazing. Wife cooks all the food and it was amazing. Great spices and flavour. Stunning vegan options. I had the gnocchi and pad Thai. Both surreal. Don’t sleep on this place!
