Everyone was happy - Edit
We visited here during a day trip to Oswestry. It's lovely to see a small town like this have a fully vegan café.
Read moreThe 4 of us ordered club sandwiches, a burger and some pancakes. We accompanied our lunch with some Cawston soft drinks.
The food was tasty and reasonably priced. The service was swift and the staff are friendly.

The breakfast stack - Edit
Very friendly staff. The food was delicious. I had an oat milk flat white with a breakfast stack. So full of flavour and super fresh and the coffee was really good. Extra seating out the back in the courtyard area. Cafe is dog friendly.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat and had the sausage sandwich with an Oreo freakshake. Both were great. Would definitely return if I’m in the area again

Some issues - Edit
We popped in for a quick mid-afternoon snack. The cafe didn't seem excessively busy, but we were waiting for over half an hour before I went to enquire as to when we'd get our food. The waiter was friendly, but there was no apology for the delay when it finally turned up. The Japanese noodles were nice, but the sausage in the sausage sandwich was rather tasteless. And rather than the double espresso with a little water (aka long black) I'd requested, an Americano turned up. It's very good that there is a vegan cafe in Oswestry and I see the reviews are mostly good, so maybe we caught them on a bad day.

Excellent all round - Edit
My go to place in Oswestry for all things plant-based. Great for a quick coffee, amazing cokes, or for a larger meal. Friendly staff and a nice calm atmosphere.

Loverly food and staff but… - Edit
I honestly love this place. I’ve been three times (as I can only visit when I’m in the area) and I rarely return to anywhere. But our recent visit, with friends we’d picked up from Holyhead, was bumpy.
Read moreWe’d booked in via Facebook Messenger with the owner, for a table of five. Unfortunately that information hadn’t been passed on to the staff running the cafe. When we arrive there hadn’t been a table reserved for us, although we’d been told there would be. This meant the staff had to ask a regular customer if they would mind moving to a different table - which is fair enough because the customer was at a table for four when there were tables for two available. We were sat at the now vacated table, but there were five of us so we didn’t have room. The staff got another table and chair and added to the end, but made the space tight for everyone by doing so. A better solution would have been to push the three empty tables for two together.
The food, however, was spot on. Absolutely delicious and plenty of choice. I’d cannot recommend the freakshakes highly enough! We had a bit of a feast, so everyone could try a bit of everything. One of our friends filmed for her YouTube channel too! The staff are lovely, the food is excellent, but the lack of communication between the staff and the owner, and the clunky table arrangement detracted from our visit.

Honestly I can't explain how good my meal was from here. I had the gyozas with noodles and oh my was it amazing, I wanted more once I finished and was doing a little food dance throughout my meal! They've definitely made a regular out of me, fully vegan menu and their sweet treats are also delicious.

Nice choice - Edit
A short but tasty menu. Soup was delicious and breakfast not bad at all. Went during Covid and a bit dismayed at lack of mask-wearing by staff and customers and no sanitiser around.

We visited in May whilst on holiday in the local area. A great find with its secret garden, colourful and quirky interior, friendly staff and of course great vegan food. We went for brunch and had the pancakes and English breakfast which were great. Would fully recommend

I love how they've managed to create a perfect balance between fun and indulgent and fresh and healthy. The name is a really good descriptor. We had freakshakes, the burger and the gyoza bowl. Was lovely, you can tell that the chef is very experienced and talented.

GREAT coffee - Edit
i preferred the coffee here to the actual coffeehouse liar liar just down the road – super good. having such a cute, cozy vegan cafe in oswestry is just lovely.
Read morethe staff were all very friendly. maybe the all-day breakfast could’ve been bigger for £8 but it was definitely filling & nourishing, and my omni mom really enjoyed her tea cakes. i got a freezer meal too; the cafe has a big selection of them and it was so difficult to choose!
overall would definitely recommend!
Pros: very good coffee!!, local artists’ work on the walls :), good selection of cakes!

Great stop on the way to Wales - Edit
We were incredibly lucky to land during the 50% offer, which wasn’t the reason we went but was a lovely added bonus. The food was good, pretty quick, nice presentation. Loved the freezer of meals you could buy to take home. Also I could have eaten any item from the menu which almost never happens just in terms of my taste!
