Nice drinks, some options to eat as well - Edit
At Kiwi Café there’s some vegan drink options, especially the smoothies are good, made either with plant protein or coconut milk. The vegan food options leave to be desired but the Jackfruit Nachos did taste really good! My order got mixed up at first, but it does happen on a busy day

Was a good feed with yummy vegan cheese! Would be cool to have a few more lunch choices but for the location it’s wonderful to have anything at all and a nice place to stop before onward travels. Would be 4***** with more choices.

I loved the Fat Kiwi Cafe so much! Their Vegan options were extremely delicious and their Cappuccino was made to perfection. Inside is a little shop which had a few nice vegan things, too, like Spice mixtures, bread dipping oil & mustard - perfect little souvenirs.

Tasty food with a nice atmosphere - Edit
We had the bao buns with pulled jackfruit and curly fries. Bao was hoisin flavoured and very tasty, and the curly fries were great. Very friendly staff and local artisan products on sale as well

Amazing Vegan Nachos - Edit
Vegan nachos were amazing! Very hard to find vegan options in small town NZ. It was full on delicious beans, lentils and spices. The vegan cheese on top was also amazing (I think it’s angel food). Totally recommend to anyone in the area.
