Amazing Burgers - Edit
Fat hippo has amazing vegan burgers. They often have specials on aswell. The photos attached are the best sandwich/burger I've ever had but it was for a limited time only. Hopefully they bring ut back.

We went during York Restaurant Week and got a decent deal - starter and main. Starters were basically variations of hash browns with cheese and main were two burgers. Decent portion sized, flavour was okay. Service was fantastic I have to say. Well done to the Fat Hippo team, couldn’t do enough for us. Drinks are expensive.

Several vegan/vegetarian burgers which are clearly marked. Loved the vegetarian wachos, and the chick'n burger. Also vegan wine available. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good quality juicy vegan burgers and plenty of options to choose from, they offer a vegan “beef patty” or a vegan “chicken patty” the loaded fries are to die for and would 100% recommend a visit - they have a few locations and I have eaten from the York restaurant a couple of times now
