Good selection for vegans and nice that most desserts can be made vegan too! - Edit
Highly advise eating in at the establishment to get the full quality experience, having also ordered takeaway which got a bit battered in the deliveroo bag.

One of the vegan burgers (the sloppy joe-esque one) won an award for being best vegan Burger (i think in the UK)

Had the vfc burger which was good (4/5) but the chips were completely flavourless. Overall not bad value for money. This place is decent with some good options.

Best onion rings around - Edit
The Harlem Fake burger is delicious and served with the tater tots even better. The service here was quick and friendly (even on a match day!) There are plenty of vegan options all clearly marked. Definitely recommend.

I recently visited Fat Hippo and, unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. While the staff were friendly and welcoming, which is always appreciated, there were several major issues that overshadowed this positive aspect
Read moreFirstly, the food was terrible. The brioche bun was really dry, and one of the burgers was missing ingredients. Additionally, the fries were very spiced with an exaggerated amount of pepper, making them almost inedible - even for someone who enjoys spicy food. I appreciate the attendant who kindly offered some mayo, but it didn’t salvage the dish. Secondly, the presentation of the food was misleading. The dishes looked nothing like the appetizing photos displayed on their website, which was quite a letdown. Lastly, the floor was greasy and disgusting, reflecting poorly on the restaurant’s cleanliness standards
Overall, despite the friendly staff, the subpar food, misleading presentation, and greasy floor made for a very disappointing dining experience
I do not recommend this place at all
