Delicious wraps + awesome fries! - Edit

I opted for the Asia “Dirty Roll” with seasoned soy strips, peanut butter sauce, salad and veggies. We also had fries and they were exceptionally good – they tasted a lot like curly fries. The Dirty Rolls came with a dollop of hummus – totally delicious! The restaurant is right across the Mauerpark where there’s a huge flea market every sunday.

Pros: those fries!! yumm! , located across the mauerpark, deeelicious!

Cons: -

Good fast Vegan food - Edit

Don't pay attention to the music if you're not in fond of rock, don't look at the détails if décoration if you're used to polish places. But if you like that kind of atmosphere, you'll be happy! Just eat a delicious wrap and choose one of the various proposal (wrap+salad, the same+dessert, smoothie, cookies...) you'll change your mind then! It's quite good for a fast food and...it's respecting the contract, it's fast! You won't be disapointed if you just have 15 minutes for eating a healthy wrap, salad or smoothie!

Pros: Tasty, Quick, Various

Cons: Music just a bit loud

Not Rabbit Food - Edit

Fast Rabbit Fast Food is real, fantastic, delicious, fast food. I enjoyed one of their Dirty Wraps for lunch - the Awesome Asian - and it was so, so good. Marinated soy curls, kimchi, Thai peanut sauce, cabbage and wrapped in a soft flat bread. It was flavorful, a great portion and a really good value. The staff even warned me it would take some time because they had just put a big order through - but it still took less than 10 minutes from ordering to eating. Everything on the menu looked really good. With more time in Berlin I'd definitely be going back.

Pros: delicious, good value, nice vibe

Yum! - Edit

Visited in Feb 2016 for a quick pit stop - had a couple of "dirty rolls" and then went back for a slice of chocolate cake :) The food was really tasty and there was a lot of choice, plenty of naughty treats. Nice atmosphere and interesting decor (I liked it but maybe not to everyone's taste)!

Pros: Delicious food, Friendly Staff, Great choice

Cons: Slow service

Loved it! - Edit

We orderded two asian dirty rolls. It was soooo good. I went to Berlin for a couple of days. I tried different restaurants, but Fast Rabbit was definitely the best one. I miss it! I highly recommend this!

Pros: Amazing food, Nice vibe, Clean

Best wraps! - Edit

Very friendly service. Flavorful, filling food. The German Roll on a gluten-free wrap was phenomenal. Extremely inexpensive. Cute but kitschy decor. I usually hate "fast food" places (even if they're vegan), but this is one of the best veg restaurants in Berlin. Go if you have a chance!

At most restaurants, a GF wrap means a dry, gross, rice wrap with the same filling as the "normal" wrap. Here, the GF wrap is a warm, thick, homemade chickpea flour pancake that's tender but doesn't fall apart. Even if you don't have food allergies and don't normally eat gluten-free, try the GF wraps here!

Staff speak some English, and try to help with all the ingredient questions you may want to ask. There is very little faux meat. Most of the menu is fresh cooked whole foods, plus french fries, smoothies, and desserts.

Right next door to a juice bar.

Pros: great service, inexpensive, wonderful gluten-free options

Nice rabbit food :) - Edit

Nice atmosphere, friendly staff speaking excellent English, tasty food. I had the Asian roll, companions tried German and Mexican roll and the fries with cheese sauce. As a dessert I had a smoothie.

We were all very happy with our food. I tasted my companions cheese fries and wow they were greesy and yummy! The smoothie was pretty as a jewerly and a perfect ending to a meal.

Only minus comes from the fact that they also serve cow's milk.

Pros: Interesting and tasty foods, Friendly and efficient staff

Cons: Not wholly vegan place, Wierd loud music "obligatory" to places like this

Good vegan spot - Edit

Uncomplicated food (salads, rolls, soups, etc.).
Had a German Roll (5,50 euros) that was tasty and perfect when only a little bit hungry.
Location is great, next to Mauer park.

Pros: Location, Cosy inside and terrace

Cons: Not many options, A bit pricey

Best vegan bistro in Prenzlauer Berg - Edit

I am a regular at Fast Rabbit and always happy when I eat there.
My favourite is the combo with wrap, fries/salad and a drink but the soups are also definitely tasty.
Cappuccino can be served with almond milk which is a great +
It's always a nice atmosfere and staff is kind and helpful too.
A real must-go!

Come and try this ****! - Edit

That's the Fast Rabbit gospel. Come and try this shit! But seriously on all fairness please now seriously now look. It's really good. It never fails. The wraps are all good, the salad is diverse and tasty, the soups hearty and tasting proper. I've been to Fast Rabbit like a gazillion times or so, and it really is that good.

On a negative note, they killed the BBM wrap (Berlin's Best Mix). I've no idea why they'd do that, it's just silly. It also got a bit more expensive in early 2016, but it was crazy cheap anyway.

Still, just get in there and try it.

Pros: Excellent food, Good value, Terrific music selection (usually)

Cons: Got a little more expensive as of late, BBM's gone

Good, certainly worth a visit - Edit

We had lunch at Fast Rabbit yesterday, which consisted of a mexican roll (or is it called bean roll?), an asian roll, fries and a lentil soup. The rolls were clearly the best part - my friend said that next time, rather than the combo, he'll just get two rolls. The fried were very thin, very cold and I believe they had been somehow seasoned before frying - on any case they were also not that tasty. The lentil soup was fine (my friend did not like it, but I thought it tasted like a regular lentil soup without any particular flavouring). The rolls are recommended. A bit on the pricey side, though.

Pros: rolls taste good

AMAZING experience - Edit

I loved this place, the atmosphere is great, the location is great, the prices are very reasonable and the FOOD... Just delicious!!!Especially the fries and vegan Mayo!Ubelievable.

Nothing special - Edit

The place had a good voice of their food which motivated me to go there. The selection was small, the wraps good but not memorable. The french fries were awful and tasted day old. Only thing I can say is that the lentil soup and the salad were good. It needs improvement otherwise not a place I would necessarily recommend. Also not that cheap considering these are warps we are talking about.

Pros: All vegan

Cons: Bland, Small selection

A really nice place, ideal for visitors to Berlin - Edit

Fast Rabbit is relaxed without being scruffy, with a small but tasty menu, and ideally located for tourists visiting Mauerpark or the Berlin Wall exhibitions along Bernauer Strasse. The soups are nearly always fantastic, as is the mayonnaise that comes with the fries – far better than any egg-based mayo I'd ever had!

Pros: Good location, Relaxed atmosphere, Amazing vegan mayo

Fast and Tasty - Edit

I stopped in here on my way to Mauer Park. I got the Amazin Asian wrap. It was a pretty big wrap, maybe 8 or 9 inches. The soy meat was seasoned very well, a little sweet and savory. For 5,50 euro. I also got the forest berry chocolate cake on sale for 2 euro. Very yummy as well. It had a cute store front too. And I liked that they had combo deals as well.

Pros: Fast, Big portion, cheap

Amazing!! - Edit

This place is so good! Very quick service, so perfect if you're in a rush or want a quick lunch. I ordered the mexican burrito (dirty roll) and also the chocolate smoothie. Both were AMAZING! I definitely recommend this place, my favourite vegan meal in Berlin so far!!

Pros: Quick, Delicious, Friendly Staff

Pros: all vegan, friendly, easy to find

Cons: none

My sister and I stopped here for lunch during a visit at the section of the walls on Breslauer Strasse. We ate two delicious wraps along with some really good organic sodas. Friendly staff, great place!

Pros: Location, Wraps, Staff

great! - Edit

nice little cute cafe near mauerpark! not many gluten free options but the staff where accomadating and we had their 'dirty rolls' served as salad plates, tasty and good value. The earl grey latte was also impressive!

Pros: vegan, cheap, tasty

Cons: bit crowded at times

Fresh and cosy - Edit

The food is always nice and healthy, even though it is so called fast food. Love the wraps, especially a new german one. Worth try bottled a wine drink with water. One of my favourite places in Berlin for a reasonable price.

Pros: The wraps, Bottled wine drink, Dogs allowed

Absolutely Horrendous - YUCK!!! - Edit

Went to this cafe based on the Happy Cow reviews and was angry to find that those reviews bore no resemblance to cafe I visited! In my opinion the place is a disaster from start to finish. Myself and my daughter left all our food as the place looked filthy (on the day we visited there were literally dozens of flies dead inside the salad counter). We had travelled across town based on the glowing reviews and were very hungry and so decided to overlook first impressions by giving the salad counter a miss and putting the flies down to a hot day and ordered from the kitchen instead. We ordered two "dirty rolls" (so appropriately named!) and "homemade fries". Neither of us could eat any of the food and we left nearly everything. This is the first time in her life that my 11 year old has refused to eat fries as they were simply swimming in grease. The contents of the rolls looked like dog food (no kidding or exaggeration). Another customer nearby was complaining and the lady sat near me was politely force feeding herself and silently gagging. I am not kidding, but these reviews are seriously misleading. This place is vile and gives vegan eating a bad name. I have been a vegan for 40 years and eaten all over the world. Best advice: STAY AWAY NO MATTER HOW HUNGRY YOU ARE! I had to give this a rating of 2 cows as that's the lowest Happy Cow allow, but if I had my choice it would have a zero. I would advise that this cafe does a deep clean and that the chef do some travelling around other veggie/vegan places to see how vegan food can be clean and fresh - it does not require a fancy cooking course, just some interest in giving people a nice plate of food. I would also advice that one of the problems here is that it is very disconcerting not to be able to identify the food on the plate, which again comes down to cooking and presentation. Our waitress was friendly, but seemed oblivious to the problems with the food. I understand that this is a "grungy" style place, but that does mean that basic standards can be thrown out of the window. (btw, I was so appalled at this place that I actually joined to write this review as I felt some honesty was needed for the shamefully wrong reviews it has received).

Pros: Good music

Cons: Dirty, Horrid food

Raydoggy 29 Sep 2015 - I can't believe this review, no, I mean it, I really can't believe it, it's just not true, I eat there at least once a week and mostly twice a week and I have never had a problem with the food, the staff are very friendly and the soups are delicious, the wraps are the best I have ever tasted and very cheap. I do admit that the fries used to be quite greasy, but lately they are really good. I don't think this review is fair. I have my suspicions that there is is some funny business going on with this review, because everyone I send to Fast Rabbit thanks me for the tip. I think it might be best to go back and give it another try, maybe you got a bad day, or got out of bed on the wrong side or perhaps you are used to 5 star Michelin places, but I will continue going to FR. Trust the other reviewers over this one.

RemyD 28 Oct 2015 - This doesn't match my experience at all. I work nearby this cafe and have lunch or dinner there at least once per week. I've never got the impression that the food or environment was unclean. Every time I have been I have had great coffee, and delicious fresh, healthy food.

I'm not trying to discount your experience, I just wanted to offer my own response in the hope that your review doesn't dissuade others from trying this place.

Healthy vegan fast food - Edit

I went here as this place was closing to see what they had to offer and when I mentioned HappyCow, the owner (Christoph) came out to talk to me. He told me that he had in the catering business for years and he explained how he was interested in the vegan food revolution taking place in Berlin, but thought there was more to vegan fast food than veganised junk food classics that often use processed veggie “fake meat”. This is where the concept for “Fast Rabbit Fast Food” was born: healthy vegan fast food – veggie junk food that is good for you.

This was the idea behind the name of his trademark dish “the dirty roll”: freshly made wraps filled with a combination of fresh ingredients, including: homemade paste, fresh salad, freshly sprouted seedlings (sprouted there in jars on the wall), lightly cooked vegetables and pulses. It has the taste and feel of fast food, but it’s fresh and healthy.

Despite the kitchen being closed, he made us one especially so that we could try it. It did exactly as described; it was delicious and tasted fresh and healthy. We also tried a lemon orange tart (very nice) as well as a chocolate cookie (not too sweet tasted like chocolate and not just sugar) and were impressed with the quality.

In fact, most things are freshly made in the kitchen, even down to the handmade tortilla wraps themselves and the kitchen is 100% vegan. As well as wraps, Fast Rabbit offers salads, soup, cakes and sweets. The only non-vegan thing is the cow's milk served with drinks. The owner said he hopes to go 100% vegan at some point, probably once the business is stable. This is the reason why I only gave them 4 stars; it will get a well-earned 5 stars from me when it finally makes that step to eschew all animal products!

Update from previous review (Tuesday November 12, 2013):

Now 100% vegan! A well-earned 5 stars

Pros: Healthy fast food

Close to Mauerpark lies this vegan gem. Everytime I visit Berlin I have to visit Fast Rabbit. It is that good.

The staff is so friendly and the food is really great.

Can't wait until I go to Berlin again.

Delicious wholesome and fast! - Edit

Went to Fast Rabbit Food yesterday. Called them up as I wasn't totally sure of the location from my GPS. Very helpful on the phone.
I ordered a Mexican wrap and fries with sugar free Fritz kola and it was super tasty, very well considered ingredients that complimented eachother.
Ambience in the restaurant was really great, nice busy vibe, outdoor seating.
Hope to go back!

Pros: delicious, healthy, fast

Cons: none

Mauer Park - Kicks Ass - Best Wraps - Edit

I love this place, I come here religiously twice a week. Best wraps around. Also, great location, straight opposite MauerPark and just around the corner from Oderberger Str. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. Can't go wrong here. Also, very inexpensive.

Pros: Tasty, Fresh, Cheap

Cons: Last orders 10.00pm

Pros: easy to find, nice workers, good sizes

Cons: bad internet connection

tasty fast vegan food - Edit

Unlike other vegan "fast food" places, this is rather healthy. The menu is small with a couple of wraps, soups, and salads but the food is all very good. It was a bit busy when we arrived around 1 on Sunday but it cleared out quickly. You order and pay for your food at the counter then they bring it to you. We received our food very quickly. Both soups were good but the lucky leek soup was phenomenal. We had the Mexican rolls (wraps) which were tasty and included black beans, potatoes, rice, greens, corn and other veggies. The wraps were huge and very filling. You can get any of their food to go and they make it quickly.

Good Find! - Edit

Stumbled across here by mistake after leaving Mauer Park, popped in for coffee and had one of the best smoothies we have ever had. Friendly staff and playing really good music. Nice and warm inside on a cold day. Food looks great.

Funky atmosphere, good food - Edit

I just tried their brownie and coffee which was both very good. Appreciate that they also had oat milk, which was very yummy. When I was there, they played country music the whole time, which absolutely suited and was quite funny.

Need to come back for their famous dirty rolls.

Pros: Inexpensive

nice vegan wraps - Edit

We came here for dinner on a Sunday. Ordered the combo with salad, soup, and a wrap. The salad I would not order again... It was a random combination of hummus, rice, and beets. The soup was good (lentil love) and my husband's was also good (pumpkin). we had one BBQ and one Mixed Up wrap -- we were confused at first because we thought these were told, but they're really just wraps in the traditional american sense of the word! For 20 euros (including drinks) it was a great value. Worth visiting if you're in the area or in Mitte. Only thing I didn't like was the use of "gangbang" in the title of one of the dishes. I get that you're an edgy restaurant, but some things just aren't super humorous to joke about. That said, the staff is really nice, and everyone spoke English if that's a concern for you.

Pros: low price, good soups and wraps, friendly staff

Cons: wish they had more entree salads

Cows Milk - Edit

Very disappointing that they use steamed cows milk in drinks. Makes them part time vegan. Anyone who uses a machine to steam milk will know the steamer drips after use even when you clean it. Why bother serving cows milk? Go pure vegan! It is a great cafe with nice down-town atmosphere.

Tasty wraps @ Fast Rabbit - Edit

Went there in July Situated on Maurepark with nice outdoor area with pleasant herbs around Fast rabbit has an easy going vibe to it. the menu is small clear and good value. They make their own wraps which are very tasty indeed.can recommend the Asian and bbq wraps.Very flavour full. A friendly woman looked after us with patience and warmth. they have a nice self service on chilled drinks and vegan ice cream too.Good place for groups if your in the area.

Pros: Tasty simple food, friendly staff, relaxed enviroment

Cons: outdoor area is nice but can be noisy, fries - very skinny & too crispy for me, salad a bit small

Favorite Place in Berlin! - Edit

This is one of my favorite places both for a decent meal or getting some snacks and taking a rest. Delicious, healthy yet fast, cheap and big portioned meal in the middle of Berlin! Both (oh now they have three; Oriental, Mexican, and German) their rolls (burritos?) are big and tasty but I really love their soups; especially the creamy cauliflower soup. Prices are already inexpensive (4.5€ for a wrap, 3.8€ for a bowl of soup) but you can get better deal with the set menu (couple of combinations of wrap, salad, soup). They also have tasty cookies and cakes though they are quite sweet (just like most store bought sweets are) and the savory meals are definitely much more impressive!

Pros: Delicious!, Price and Portion, Friendly

great restaurant - Edit

There was a lot of choice also for vegans, mostly fast food and delicious vegan cakes, they have a nice salad bar too.
They make also coffees with soja milk!

Pros: great place, excellent food, friendly staff

Great place for a vegetarian lunch - Edit

We had a great lunch at Fast Rabbit. The staff were very friendly, the food came quickly (probably due to limited menu) and was delicious.

We both ate wraps which were lovely. Only 2 to chose from but they do those two so well it didn't feel limited.

Cakes and cookies also looked delicious but didn't have room to try them!

Great location near Mauer park.

Pros: food, staff

Cons: none

Yummy! - Edit

Great location across from Maurepark, which has a super cool flea market on Sundays. They have outdoor seating
which is great for people watching.

I had the dirty roll and the lentil soup which were both quite yummy and very fresh.

Pros: Outdoor seating , Good value, Excellent food

Dirty Yamyam - Edit

My boyfriend and me came here on a Saturday in March for a dirty roll (4,50€) and a piece of chocolate cake(2,50€). The dirty roll is fluffy and warm, baked to perfection, the cake was heavy and chocolatey. Everythings vegan except you can order your beverages with cows milk. Music is awesome. I am definitely coming back to try the home-made "potato gangbang" (=fries).

Berlin tourists: This is a nice place to visit after/before a stroll through Mauerpark Flea Market on Sundays.

Pros: Vegan Fast Food, Great Music, Good location

Excellent - Edit

Fast Rabbit is good, whole vegan food. It's healthy and tasty. The wraps are so good, and the tortilla are made fresh. We saw the owner/chef roll out the tortilla dough and bake it to perfection. Everything was delicious there; the flavor was good, the execution, and great that it's all whole food. This place is unique and different from many other vegan joints in Berlin that like to serve faux meat and cheese.

Pros: Excellent Food, Good Value, Whole Food

Cons: none

Fantastic !!!!! - Edit

I went to Fast Rabbit without expecting much - I thought it was your average vegan fast food place with the standard dishes.

What a positive surprise!! Extremely imaginative cook and super tasty, fresh, healthy food, that is nicely arranged. Much more than you would expect from a fast food place. The cook is very unpretentious and relaxed. If you like your dish and want to have an idea of how to make it - just ask him.

Pros: tasty food, good value for money, nice staff
