Menu is false advertising - Edit
Came here based on happycow recommendations after checking their social media (100% AI slop, which normally would mean I wouldn’t even go there, but options were limited). Decided to order the veggie taco salad. Asked for extra (black) beans and no sour cream or cheese. Server assured me the taco salad doesn’t come with cheese. Well it apparently DOES come with cheese but it doesn’t come with almost any of the other listed/advertised ingredients. After they scraped the cheese off (!) I was left with a bowl of rice and refried beans with guacamole and a bit of pico and shredded lettuce on top. The advertised veggie taco salad on social media (their website doesn’t exist, so no menu there) says it is “packed with crisp veggies, black beans, corn, and topped with a zesty dressing.” If you count lettuce as a crisp veggie then 1/4 of those is true? Would never go back as the kitchen seems to randomly decide what to put in a dish and ignore the menu (plus their social media posts don’t match the physical menu either..)

Quick and simple - Edit
Veggie burrito isn’t labeled vegan but it is. There’s a salsa bar which you can use to add flavor to your burrito, definitely use it (otherwise the food is a bit bland). Religious tracts behind the front counter were a bit of a turn off.

Cheap and delicious - Edit
The veggie burrito is my favorite kind of burrito—rice, beans, fresh salsa and lettuce. I added guacamole. It was huge. Horchata was delicious and on the level. Tots also good. Dinner was less than $30 for two people. Super nice folks, too.

Some options and open late - Edit
Arrived late on a Friday and this was the closest open option to our hotel. It’s like taco del mar but seems to be family owned. Got a taco salad in a tortilla bowl which was beans, lettuce, tomatoes, and a big side of tater tots. They have a salsa bar too where you can add even more toppings and hot sauce. It was decent for being one of the few options open.

Super burritos in a super size. - Edit
The Veggie Burrito is vegan and delicious. They also have an excellent salsa bar! I'd give it 5 stars but it's not strictly a vegan place as they serve meat dishes with the burrito being one of the few vegan dishes. I go there for the burrito over any other restaurant in the area though.

Basic but enjoyable - Edit
Veggie burrito was nice, not very exciting in terms of flavour but I liked it. The tater tots were good - hard to go wrong with them.

Basic but good - Edit
Yes it's pretty fast. The veggie tacos/burritos are basic (no roasted veggies or vegan cheese) but it's pretty satisfying with the free salsa bar and pickled spicy carrots. Their guac is not very good. The rice and beans are vegan per staff.

Great veggie burrito - Edit
Yummy, I'd probably give it 5 stars if possible, I've heard the meat here isn't that great anyways

Beans are not vegan - Edit
Their beans are cook with lard. So I got the veggie burrito: rice, lettuce, pico de gallo, salsa and an addition of guacamole. It was good, but simple.

The beans are NOT cooked with lard! I checked with the owner just now and they are cooked with soy oil. They are vegan if you ask for no cheese in the burrito.
