Good choices

A good selection of choices and their cheesecake was fab. The main I had they’d gone heavy with the pepper which made the whole dish bland and the staff seemed a bit distracted chatting.

Pros: Good selection of options, Tasty dessert

Cons: Distracted staff

Vegan night out

We attended a ‘vegan night’ at the Farndon Ferry, a bar/restaurant which normally has several vegetarian and vegan options but also quite a lot of meaty ones. The vegan night offered a set 5 course meal and a glass of wine for £45. The food was excellent, and included such delights as seaweed and sundried tomato arancini, vegetable tempura with satay and spicy chilli dips, lemon and blueberry cheesecake and blackcurrant sorbet. I think the venue were a little surprised that vegans came in such large numbers (there was a table of 18 or so, and another table of 9), but the atmosphere was lovely and the service very good. Having been impressed with their set menu I will definitely go back on a ‘normal’ day to sample their vegetarian brunch or tapas.

Pros: Great quality food , Super riverside location , Cocktails !

Cons: Very limited public transport
