They don’t know what’s vegan or not

I phoned up to ask if they had vegan veg options for the carvery, they said yeah they do a meat free roast. Drove 30 mins and arrived and asked which veg was vegan and they said it’s all meat free, i said no dairy or egg and they said oh don’t know. Went and checked and said mash has butter, all veg has “veg glaze” but they don’t know what veg glaze is to know what’s in it. Wasted trip… but staff were nice despite unaware.

Pros: Kind staff

Cons: Poor vegan options, Not knowledgable of vegan options
