Delicious local seasonal veggies

I found this shop on Google Maps. Some people who had visited this place left reviews on Google mentioning that their lunches were vegan. So, I contacted the shop and they confirmed that they can offer vegan lunch. Most of their food is plant-based but they do use chicken in some dishes. On the weekends, they have a buffet with many vegan dishes - ask staff which ones are ok. On weekdays, they will make a vegan lunch for you upon request. I made a reservation a few days ahead just to make sure. They confirmed when we arrived that we don't want ANY animal ingredients (it's a good idea to confirm just in case).

We went on a weekday. The lunch was very good! It included several small dishes with various local seasonal vegetables, rice, soup, and pickles. It was delicious and satisfying! They encouraged us to come back on the weekends for the buffet next time.

The garden shop is very big and has lots of beautiful flowers. There is also a nice craft shop nearby.

Pros: delicious local, seasonal food, kind staff, flowers, crafts, mountain, nice scenery

Cons: it's best to ask about vegan options in advance
