Vending machine offering freshly made salads, noodle dishes and bowls with various vegan options. All food is made locally every morning. Open Mon-Sun 12:00am-12:00am.
So grateful I always have something quick, healthy, and fresh to count on in an airport when there’s a Farmer’s Fridge. My favorite vegan items are their Thai Noodle Bowl and coconut chia bowl.
As it turns out, always my go to at ohare. It's by gate B20 hidden in the hall. There's not typically many options, but whatever they have is good (e.g., burrito bowl or chia pudding).
I had the Burrito Bowl. Vegan and very tasty. Price okay for an airport. Payed 6,99 Tax for the Bowl. You can throw the empty containers for reuse back into the fridge.
This seems like the only healthy place to eat at in Terminal 1. But surprisingly, it was incredibly delicious. I purchased a salad with watermelon radishes, quinoa, and blueberries in it and the ingredients were fresh and tasty. It was very easy to eat and super portable. At around $10, I thought it was reasonable for airport pricing (and the fact that watermelon radishes were included). I wish there were similar vending machines in other airports.
Only one request: Please offer more vegan-friendly options. Thanks!
