Few but good options! - Edit
They have one vegan portobello burger on the menu (note that the portobello is the burger's bun, so there is no bread)
Read moreThen they have a buffet with vegan mushroom soup (from their own mushrooms), two types of bread that were vegan, one chilli and bell pepper jam and a bell pepper and mushrooms tapenade.
They had more spreads and mushrooms that were cooked in butter, so not vegan.
They also have vegan mushroom ice cream but we did not try it.
Small and cute place with a very friendly dog that greets all the guests :)
Pros: Tasty mushroom soup
Cons: Little options

Mushroomscrumptious - Edit
The menu has one option, a vegan mushroom burger. It’s very creative and delicious. Inspired by Bavarian bread dumplings. Came with a fresh salat, no heavy dressing, lovely. Nice place to stop and have a break. Kind stuff.

Portabella a Must Try! - Edit
The buffet and the portabella burger are both vegan. I went for the burger and it was a delight. Veggie pattie sandwiched by fresh, juicy portabellas. It came with a side salad of fresh greens, peppers, and tomatoes that was lightly dressed with oil to allow the fresh veggies to take center stage. Peaceful, quaint environment with a friendly and accommodating wait staff definitely worth the stop!

Updated buffet - Edit
I decided to try the buffet today since it looked more vegan friendly than reviews from a couple years ago.
Read moreThey have a vegan mushroom soup option. It had to be prepared, so took a few minutes, but was worth the wait!
The three breads were all vegan, (garlic bread has oil, not butter on it) tapenade, marinated spicy (not very) mushroom, and a bell pepper chili marmalade were all delicious. They also brought out a vegan butter for me, and had plant milk for coffee. In all, delicious and filling.
Worth a stop! Hit the spot on a cool, wet day.

Delightful surprise in seemingly the middle of nowhere - Edit
This was a random stop in the middle of a road trip adventure. We were drawn in by the mushroom roadside advertisements. At first glance it was a bit off-putting because it is a farm (full stop) but the entrance to the restaurant was off to the left. The staff was SO friendly and the portobello burger was SO GOOD. I have never tried a mushroom burger where the mushrooms made up the actual bun! The veggie pattie inside was all farm-grown veggies and so crunch crispy delicious. Even the side salad blew me away with the freshness (the dressing was fabulous!). 1000000 stars, this was an incredible spontaneous stop!

Frisches Essen - Edit
Der vegane Portobello Burger war geschmacklich super, aber sehr klein. Meine Frau hatte das Pilz Buffet (vegetarisch). Das war richtig viel und sehr lecker!

Amazing burger! - Edit
The burger was amazing!! I love mushrooms so it was a no brainer. The Salad that comes next to the burger was way to oily for me but otherwise 10/10

Great vegan burger - Edit
The vegan portabello burger consists of a patty and the 'bread' is portabello mushroom, which was delicious. It also had red cale and a sauce. The staff was very friendly and fixed up a free vegan meal for our 1.5 year old.
