Beans in Broth - Edit
The service was great as was the ambiance. We started with the charcuterie board with fresh kohlrabi, radish, carrots, cherries, cukes, pickled zucchini, fresh baked breads, two dips, one vegan-Baba ghanoush, the other not and more. Beautiful presentation. Beans in broth was my entree choice although there were more vegan choices. Delicious. My non-vegan companions enjoyed their entrees also. Practically priced. Family friendly with outdoor seating surrounded by sunflowers on this glorious sunny August day in wine country on the Leelanau Peninsula. On my way out I picked up a yummy vegan oatmeal cookie from their bakery counter to enjoy later.

Not bad but not very vegan friendly - Edit
As my husband says, they are "reluctantly accommodating" towards vegans.

We ordered the farm board appetizer, which had beautiful veggies and some fruit. Unfortunately, the bean dip they served with it was both an odd choice and didn't taste very good. Who wants to dip their veggies in black refried beans that have been drizzled with sesame oil? Not us.
.
For the main course, we got beans and greens (perhaps the only menu item that's vegan without having to alter it) and the polenta dish. Both were fine, but nothing special. The "salad" (just some lettuce) that comes with the beans was very bland and the lettuce was a little gritty - it needed to be washed better.
.
The concept of the restaurant is cool (produce from gardens on their property), and it's in a beautiful fun setting. And to be fair, service has always been great. But the food is mediocre and lacking in flavor - and there is just no feeling of care for vegan accommodations.
.
Oh and get this! They have four actual salads on the menu, but none of them can be made vegan. All of their dressings, including the vinaigrette, contain animal products.
.
Not being able to get a vegan SALAD of all things was the final straw. We've eaten here a few times over the years, but they almost seem to get less vegan friendly over time. We've unfortunately had our last meal here, unless they make some changes.
