Lives up to its name - Edit
Farbenfroh means "colorful" in German, and this certainly describes the extensive buffet offered every Sunday for brunch. On the day of my visit, choices included chili sin carne, sweet potato soup, grilled vegetables, a large selection of salads (chickpea, beet, et cetera), roasted potatoes, freshly baked breads, two savory spreads, plum preserves, a homemade vegan version of Nutella, apple cake, and soy yogurt parfaits.

Gourmet Vegan Restaurant!! - Edit
I invited my parents and boyfriend to Farbenfroh after my graduation and it was the best choice. They were the most attentive staff ever (I requested an oilfree, glutenfree meal and they did the BEST job, making different suggestions and adjusting the menu so I could have a perfect meal). The portions looked tiny at first but due to the huge plates appeared much smaller than they ended up being. So delicious and satisfying. We all loved it (omnivore parents, vegetarian boyfriend & oilfree, glutenfree vegan me :P). They offer such exquisite and interesting flavour combinations you won't find in any other vegan restaurant. Their desserts were heavenly, you wouldn't even know they were vegan.
Read moreUnfortunately for us but luckily for them it was a super busy night and we had to wait for almost an entire hour for our dessert but the staff was always apologising and they definitely did their best. Definitely recommend!!

Read moreEven my grandma liked it. Took her there for her birthday. She even got a slice of chocolate cake from the kitchen as a present... even though she's not the easiest carnivore to deal with ;)

Great vegan restaurant! The daily meny changes every week, and the whole meny six times a year. Fresh, delicious food very nicely presentered and the wine recommandations were superb. They also have juice recommandationes to each dish. The portions were generous. The staff was very nice and attentive, and the cook generously shared some good advice. Am already looking forward to visiting the restaurant again!

Read moreThis was the TASTIEST ice cream i have ever had in my whole life! It was lovely decorated,with homemade browniespices and homemade crumbles and fresh fruit. I had a nice talk with the owners, because there weren't a lot if people. Though a bit pricier than most vegans hope, this is certainly the adress to go to! They maked everything themselves, even the veggiebroth and the bread they serve (theres brunchbuffet on sundays).
Nice staff,and most compelling food you can get.
If i would want indulge myself with tastiness,then i would go there!

Extraordinary colourful food - Edit
We went for the Sunday brunch buffet, which is highly recommendable. The buffet included e.g. self made bread and roles fresh from the oven, a wide variety of cold vegetable dishes and salads, warm dishes, a soup, sweet and savoury bread spreads, fruits and desserts. The food was tasty and the service very friendly. A reservation is recommended.
Read moreAlso the 3-4 course menu (optionally accompanied by either wines or high quality juices) was an amazing treat. The name of the restaurant (Farbenfroh) reflects itself in the colourful variety and combination of extraordinary food.
The friendly chef is very ambitious and appreciates your feedback.
We will definitely go there again soon.
