Not the Biggest Aficionado - Edit
This place's food surfaced revelries of youthful nights. Specifically those late, drunken, college nights when the goal was to find something suitably greasy to soak up the evening's imbibements. Back then there was this place on the Hill - Tra-ling's - where the presented options, all various shades of beige, were served and sold by the scoop. Fan's in Niwot is certainly reminiscent of Tra-ling's (except this time I was sober and didn't find a used bandaid in my chow mein).

Was it worth it? Hmm.
To answer such a question, one must weigh whether waking up in the middle of the night to chug a quart of water, plus emanating garlic from every pore for 36 hours, makes up for the satiation of momentary hunger. Being given an extra berth at the airport does have its benefits, however.
I would like to say that Fan's will do in a pinch, but given the memory-driven squelch that my stomach just elicited upon writing this review, I, alas, cannot.
The good news is that if you find yourself hungry for Chinese food in Niwot, Tsing Tsao lies in wait only 11 short miles to the southwest

Hole in the wall - but tasty! - Edit
We sometimes get takeout and bring it to Fritz’s to sop up delicious beer. Service is quick and the portions are large.
