I loved the atmosphere, the stuff was friendly and I felt very relaxed. The food was good, one gets to choose from a buffet. The buffet is not very big, but it is enough! I also had a dessert and some tea. Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere!

Fancy foods hat uns heute sehr überzeugt. Allein das Lokal an sich ist sehr viel gemütlicher als das vorherige.
Read moreWir hatten zwei Suppen, zwei Hauptspeisen und einen Kuchen. Man bekommt die Suppen bei Bedarf zum Tisch gebracht. Für die Hauptspeisen holt man sich einen Teller an der Theke ab. Nachdem man sich diesen befüllt hat, wird dieser erneut an der Theke gewogen. Uns gefällt dieses Konzept. Die Speisen sind zum Teil sehr ausgefallen und haben einen tollen Geschmack.

Nice restaurant with exclusively vegan food. The dishes from the buffet are weighed at the till and charged per 100g. There is also a nice selection of different cakes in the display case behind the till.
Read moreThe selection at the buffet is not too big but absolutely sufficient - even if you don't like some of the ingredients. I really enjoyed everything today, particularly the potato salad, the chilli and chocolate-cherry cake afterwards ;-). Once a month, there is a very nice and informal regular's table where you can meet other vegans or like-minded people (appointments on the website). Highly recommended!

I tried a bit of everything on the buffet and it was all very tasty. Germany had a thing about leaving food out uncovered though so there were a couple of flies. The cake was in a closed case and it was possibly the best I’ve ever had. More of a gateaux I suppose, and honestly incredible. The person working there was very nice.

I can not relate to the previous comment at all, because I thought the food was fantastic. I was visiting Wuppertal and chose the buffet option on two different days and was presented with a new selection of foods on the second day! I tried to fit everything on the plate, and all options tasted great.
Read moreI also had a cake and soup on another day. The lentil soup was outstanding. I'd say it's more like a stew and very tasty.
The staff was very nice and welcoming. I even got food when I showed up, after the kitchen had closed for the day!
I'll certainly come back when I visit Wuppertal again. 💚

The atmosphere and the staff were so nice! Unfortunately we were quite disappointed of the food.
Read moreWe had the meal of the day which was pasta with veggies and a "tuna" sauce. Unfortunately it almost didn't have any flavor. The lentil soup was nice though. Then we also had two slices of cake, but it just wasnt that good either. We thought it's maybe because sugar is missing, but not that great. I think I wouldn't go again. One of us was even not content with her coffee. So not really our cup of tea. Even though the atmosphere is so nice.
(Also we were quite confused of the food offerings, as it wasn't made that clear)

Frisches gesundes veganes Buffet - Edit
Hier gibt es immer ein veganes Buffet mit vielen ungewöhnlichen Speisen. Die Verwendung vieler frischer Kräuter macht das Essen sehr geschmackvoll. Es kommt ohne Fleischersatz aus, die reine Fülle an Obst und Gemüse, geschickt kombiniert, lässt keinen gebratenen Fleischersatz vermissen.

Einziger Nachteil ist der Preis. Gezahlt wird pro 100 g auf dem Teller. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit zwischendurch zu wiegen. Entweder mensch geht sehr oft Nachschlag holen und jedesmal an der Kasse abwiegen, oder, wie es mir geht, einmal zu wenig als einmal zuviel.
Pros: Ungewöhnlich Speisen, Viel frische Kräuter, Kommt ohne Fleischersatz aus
Cons: Preis pro 100 g, Keine Möglichkeit zwischen zu wiegen

I don't like the concept of buffet: it is actually easier for the restaurant but for some reason it is more expensive.

We also tried dessert - I loved my mango cheesecake with cardamon, but other cake was not good at all - not sweet at all and had a taste of soda.
Generally, I am always happy to support vegan business - people are great - but I hope they will find the ways to improve)

I didn't get the chance to go there, but we checked out their new location and menu. To my surprise: this restaurant is very discreet with the fact that it's fully vegan! It doesn't say vegan in big letters anywhere and I only saw it specified on the menu. I'm very happy with this, as it lowers the threshold for non vegans to go here and normalizes vegan restaurants:)

Read moreI liked the concept at first but the food was just okay. It’s was just pricey for what you get. It wasn’t special and the rice was dry, sadly. I had a curry with the rice, so it was okay (again).
The cake for dessert was bad - super dry and a weird aftertaste.
The interior was cute but really small and we had to watch out not to touch the other customers next to us because there was just a little space to sit. I hope this chances at the new place.

Wir sind heute extra hingefahren und standen vor verschlossener Tür. Ein Schild verweist auf den Umzug nach Elberfeld. Neue Adresse laut Mail der Besitzerin: Schöne Gasse 6. Die Sterne fordert die App- ich kenne das Lokal noch nicht, werde später aber mal hingehen.

Amazing food - Edit
This is a buffet style restaurant where you pay by weight. The food is amazing. I got salad with nut peso, rice with roasted aubergines, potato salad and curry vegetables. It was all so good. Interior is also very nice (but small), with plants and a nice wooden interior.

What a surprise... Such a cosy little eatery with the most yummie meals. You choose the size of your plate and fill it with all different kinds of healthy vegan dishes. We had three curries with mango chutney and potato salad and bread/ rice. And off course a fantastic 'cheese' cake with coffee.

Aufgrund des geringen Angebots an rein veganen Restaurants in Wuppertal waren wir positiv überrascht von dem gemütlichen Café. Erwartet haben wir maximal ein paar Standard- Avocadotoasts und Acaibowls. Aber das Café bietet eine tolle übersichtliche Auswahl an sehr kreativen, lecker gewürzten Gerichten! Das Mittagsbuffet war preis-leistungs-technisch super und der Kuchen mit der beste vegane Kuchen, den ich je gegessen habe! Dazu ist die Besitzerin wirklich nett.

Great vegan cooking class - Edit
The restaurant is small but very cosy. We went there for a cooking workshop, which is organised on Saturdays once a month (as announced on the website).

With a group of 6 we could pick from a wide range of vegetables, herbs and fruits to dive into the improvisation cooking. In contrary to other classes we didn't follow a recipe but learn techniques we can apply in our daily cooking. We made several dishes including Artichokes, Caribbean peanut butter stew, yellow beet salad and prune cabbage stir fry. As a final treat we got a delicious dessert.
After class you get the recipes, and suggestions how to vary on this theme.
Just as lunch, the workshop is reasonably priced.
Pros: original twist to the recipe-based workshops, daily changing menu (check website), vegan cheese for sale

Wir waren recht spät dran (3/4 Stunde vor Ladenschluss), aber es gab noch genügend Auswahl und es war sehr lecker. Der arabische Kaffeekuchen zum Nachtisch war ein weiteres Highlight ;0)
Pros: kleines gemütliches Ladenlokal , Essen kann selbst zusammengestellt werden, Hunde willkommen
Cons: Salat/warmes Essen/Sauce.. alles auf 1 Teller, Öffnungszeiten
