New vegan/plant based menu additions! - Edit
There's now a little menu section for plant-based pizzas which is so cool to see after going to different Famoso locations for years. I wanted to order the one with beyond sausage but they were out so I went with the other option which was good. The crust is some of my favorite pizza crust and the service is usually very quick and friendly.

Very enjoyable - Edit
I was able to get the organizer of a group I was a part of to have dinner there. Everyone was happy. I was the only vegan in the group, but that was not a problem at all. Everything is clearly marked, the waitstaff were knowledgeable, and my meal came out lovely. I did the build your own pizza thing. Was very tasty.

Great pizzas! - Edit
I chose the "Make my own" pizza which allows you to decide your pizza's size, base, ingredients (number of ingredients), and cheese. I said that I wanted to make it vegan with Daiya cheese (substitution is possible for no cost!) and got the most amazing pizza!

Favourite Vegan Pizza.. - Edit
They use daiya and if you order the lunch special, they will substitute romano cheese for another topping.. which is ideal! The most important thing to me is how delicious the crust and tomato sauce make the pizza.. I can whip up a decent homemade pizza with daiya and homemade sauce but a 900 degree, important Italian pizza oven really can't be beat..
Read moreMy father insists on visiting Famoso every time he visits me, he's a big meat eater so I would recommend Famoso to someone with a family that doesn't compromise their habits.. and anyone really. It's delicious pizza.
Also, vegan gelato. Do it.
