I ordered the Bruschetta and a vegan dish from the weekly specials - I was honestly just excited to see vegan specials - both were tasty. No complaints, I’d recommend the place.

Awesome burgers at expensive price - Edit
We go to Familienbetrieb only for their vegan burgers. They are simply delicious! And their sweet potato fries as well. However, it is a bit expensive in comparison with other vegan restaurants in the city. We gladly pay the extra price because the burgers are that good.

Cosy place with lots of different burger options that you can customize. Definitely make a reservation, because it tends to get crowded. Burgers are good, but a bit more on the expensive side.

Delicious vegan burger and a lovely atmosphere - Edit
I had a vegan burger with red lentil+vegetable patty, mushrooms, bbq sauce, vegan cheese and the standard burger ingredients. The bun was warm and the melted vegan cheese went perfectly with the rest. The patty was soft and not too dry, the sauce was definitely tasty in combination. The burger was really delicious and tasteful, I would definitely want to try it again. I ordered sweet potato fries with vegan mayonnaise and I cannot complain about anything, it was really good. I am impressed that they offer vegan cheese and vegan mayonnaise in the first place!

But still: Great place, definitely give it a try!

I travel to Mannheim regularly for work and this is great place I like to go to for decent vegan grub. The menu is all in German, but the servers speak good English and can help you out if you get confused. There are lots of vegan options and burgers can be made vegan with a choice of two patties. I recommend the Sergeant Pepper burger and be sure to order a side of vegan mayonnaise... it is delicious. There is also a vegan dessert available, peanut butter brownie, which is phenominal. The drinks menu is decent and the vibe is relaxed and friendly.

They have different vegan options (burgers, pasta, falafel, salads...) and sometimes daily or weekly changing seasonal vegan (ans also omnivor) offers which are posted on their facebook-homepage. The standard menu can be downloaded on the homepage. If you want to eat together with omnivor people, it's a great place, because everyone finds something. Vegan dishes are clearly labeled and the stuff is really friendly. On weekends in the evening I would recommend a reservation.

The Place was very cozy and the staff is really nice. But the food was not really Good. We had the classic burger with red lentil and veggie pattie with vegan mayo and the button mushroom burger with the same pattie. They were not seasoned at all, the mayo was flaky/lumpy and the fries had way too much Salt.

Familienbetrieb is one of our favorite places to eat in Mannheim. The burgers are really tasty and the service is always very friendly and quick.

Every burger can be ordered in a vegan version for the same price and is delivered with vegan mayonaise without extra charge. Burger was really tasty, though only barely covered with sauce. Cozy atmosphere, friendly staff.

I went to fsmilienbetrieb on a Monday for dinner and it was packed! They have lots of vegan options, particularly burgers that they can make with a veggie-red-lentil patty or a falafel patty, or salads, and possibly one pasta.
