Best wedding food I’ve ever had

We attended a wedding here yesterday and the food was sublime. Well thought out, well cooked, served beautifully and the staff were amazing.

We had a gorgeous roast veg and hummus platter to start with olive oil and balsamic to dip the homemade bread.

Main was a sweet potato and lentil en croute, asparagus, fennel and orange salad, an amazing kohlrabi curry and the best breadcrumbed risotto cake I’ve ever had!

Dessert was a decadent chocolate ganache slice with a range of fruit and candies orange peel. It was honestly so good and blew any other vegan wedding food option out of the water.

Can only imagine their regular vegan menu is as good, and they have loads of vegan items in their shop although super expensive.

Special Occasions with Non-Veg

Fallon & Byrne is great for those who are dining out with non-veg eaters and those who love wine. They have a whole wine cellar in the basement and a full-floor grocery store on the ground floor as you enter. They have a full vegan menu with lots of special cocktails, but it can get a little pricy for the veggies that they are serving. However, they are quite accommodating and are a very classy establishment.

Vegan options

The restaurant upstairs has a separate vegan menu with really nice seasonal options. Downstairs in the wine cellar there are a few vegan items on the menu, including a nice pasta dish. Both are good options for when you are meeting with non- vegans. I have often walked in to the wine cellar and gotten a seat with no/ minimal waiting time. Upstairs is a bit more formal and I have always booked in advance. It's a better option for a special occasion.
It's great to see more established restaurants in Dublin having set vegan menus.

Pros: Vegan options

Vegan Options

Nice option for when eating out with non-vegans. on a special occasion. The food is good, but very small portion. There`s a salad bar in the shop as well with some veggie options.

Great service & Ok food

Separate vegan menu, memorable five star presentation & service which is a rare vegan experience.
However the food while good was forgettable.

Don’t bother with the restaurant but try the salad bar in the market downstairs!

Loved the salad bar downstairs, so many tasty options! They also do vegan overnight oats and good looking coffees for your brunch options😄don’t rate the restaurant upstairs though, it was very very crowded and overpriced for not great vegan options

Pros: Vegan options, Not bad pricing (in the market), Aesthetically pleasing environment

Cons: Actual restaurant is crap

Nice Atmosphere, Though Not Very Vegan Friendly

We popped in as it was listed that there was a vegan menu here. Ultimately, it was just a couple options, but fine ones. We enjoyed the food and the service was quite nice. It was one of the nicer nights out we had and we were pleased though not blown away.

Pros: Location

Cons: Limited Options

Crowded and Expensive

Neither the cafe or shop are worth visiting. Everything is hugely overpriced and full of the type of people that fall for marketing terms such as "free range", "100% natural" and "humanely sourced".

Cons: Prices, No vegan options, Cramped and crowded

Vegan where exactly?

It's built into a food hall and offers one slightly vegan dish. Very expensive.

Pros: In the center of the city, not much time lost goin

Cons: No real vegan eating options. Misleading entry.
