Nice food, nice atmosphere

Have enjoyed the vegetarian food here on every occasion. There is a pleasant little courtyard area where you can eat too, which is quite rare for Japan...
Beware the sauce they use on the pita sandwiches tho, it is likely yoghurt and therefore not vegan...

Pros: nice setting, good choice, reasonable price

Cons: out of the way

Yummy pitas

Very nice place, a bit expensive but they have good food and a pleasant interior. I've had the set with 2 pitas (your choice of filling) a few times and would easily come back again for more, especially when I get my kebab cravings! The choice of fillings for this set are: chicken kebab, hummus, avocado, falafel and baba ghanoush.

Delicious!

I got the order of falafels and hummus. It was around 1000 yen and came with six falafels, a generous portion of hummus, two pitas, cabbage and cucumbers. It was filling and absolutely delicious and best of all, completely vegan! It might be a little hard to find, but it's worth it. Near Kyoto University. Find the intersection of Imadegawa and Higashioji, then head west on Imadegawa. It's tucked away on your right down a side street, near the Demachiyanagi stop.

Pros: Delicious, Friendly staff, Great vegan options
