A pita and falafel place. Fill your pita and falafel sandwich with self-serve salad toppings and hummus, as much as can fit. Most items are vegan except for a few toppings. One soup-of-the-day is usually not vegan. Has a few bar seats to eat inside. Closed Jan 2015 reported shut for renovations. JAN 2016 REPLACED BY PITA BOX - SEE THAT LISTING.

Delicious falafel!

Their pita falafel is highly recommandable! You can choose your own salats and dips and vary the taste of your pita. Everything taste delicious and fresh and they even offer a vegan kebap with seitan!
The workers clearly know what veganism means and tell you right away, which dressings and salads are vegan and which vegetarian.
If you crave falafel (which I certainly do from time to time)this is the place to go in Vienna.
Tasty food, cheap prices and fast & friendly service. Another plus is, that it is easy to find and right at the u-bahn station Taborstraße.

Tasty Vegetarian Fast Food

Very tasty vegetarian fast food. Falafel is delicious, you put salads, dips and hummus as much as you want (some of them are not vegan). Location is good. It is right out of U-bahn station, so you can easily reach it from almost any spot in Vienna.

Pros: Tasty food, Nice stuff, Location

Cons: No toilet, Just a few seats, Needs a kitchen smell eliminator

I will never get enough of their hummous...

This is a falafel bar with a small eat-in area and offers takeaway. The menu is fully vegetarian, and mostly vegan, and although the non-vegan items are not marked, staff are happy to provide information about ingredients in both German and English. In addition to falafel in pita bread, with pick and mix fillings, soup is also served, and it is possible to fill a salad bowl with any combination of the availiable toppings and spreads. Personally, I recommend the number of flavours of hummous, which include chilli, lemon, garlic, and aubergine.

Another good point about this restaurant is the location - it is opposite the U2 station Taborstraße, very difficult to miss.

Pros: price, selection, location

Cons: not completely vegan
