Quick n Tasty

This place has been open for a while now and I've only recently discovered it!

The wraps are really delicious and come with plenty of salad! Definitely a quick healthy snack for being on the go.

Absolutely delicious food, terrific value

Best falafel in Glasgow and at a very low cost. The wrap for example, is only £2.50 and is incredibly tasty and filling, a million times better than any plastic sandwich you'll buy anywhere else in the city. No wonder there's always a queue at this place but it's well worth the wait.

Pros: Totally vegan menu, amazing value, friendly staff

Cheap and convenient

I hadn't realised they had now gone fully vegan so I was pleased when I asked for a vegan version of the falafel wrap she said it's always vegan. When out and about I'd much rather spend £3 on something fresh and hot than a packaged supermarket sandwich. There were only 2 people waiting when I arrived, and given how short the menu is she easily took my order as she was prepping those for the waiting people. At a guess I'd say I only waited 5 minutes. No specific pros and cons - low price due to low overheads and they have a product how I want it. Simple enterprise. I was asked if I wanted it spicy or not (no) and whether I wanted pickles (also no). Ideal.

£3 of joy

The price for the falafel wraps have gone up to £3, but it’s still a great value. I had also double checked and there is no yoghurt sauce so no need to worry about it not being vegan.

Highly recommend!

Used to live in the Middle East so have eaten the best Lebanese food, and went today hoping for authentic Lebanese falafel. This place did not disappoint! Perfect easy (and cheap) option for when you’re on the go, and that’s hard to find for vegans so this place is a gem. Get some for your meat eating friends to show them how good and easy vegan food can be. We’ll definitely be back😄

Pros: Fresh, authentic, tasty, Cheap, Quick and easy option

Cons: We need one in the south side ;)

Amazing falafel

One of the best deals in Glasgow: A fresh, filling, very tasty, vegan falafel sandwich with sesame sauce for a mere 2.50 pounds. You can't go wrong here. They also offer hummus and tabbouleh.

Pros: Great taste, Cheap, Everything is vegan.

Amazing!

I love this place! Come here often as it just round the corner from the RCS where I study. Sometimes quite busy, but service is always great. They have vegan sauce for the falafel wraps.

Confusion over vegan options

Went here because it was listed as vegan but it most certainly isn’t. Serves dairy milk, lamb and - according to staff - the bread for the falafel wrap isn’t vegan. Staff (owner?) wasn’t even sure if the falafel was vegan. Due to not knowing what was what, I didn’t order anything, hence 2 stars. I worry many vegans have eaten here, believing what they were having was vegan when it may not have been. There are other 100% vegan places in the area which are better options.

Pros: None

Cons: Staff not clear on what was vegan.

I believe you are talking about another restaurant. As I am currently working there, I can reassure you, that first of all we have never sold lamb!?! Our thing is the “falafel wrap”. Everything is 100% non dairy, and how can the bread even be non vegan? br /> br />
Everyone who is working there (we are 3-4 people max) knows everything about what we serve, so honestly I don’t know if you have a reason to lie or you’re just talking for another restaurant:). I hope you will give a chance to our falafel wraps so you can see by your self that is the perfect vegan choice br /> br />

Thank you, br /> br />

HONESTLY MY FAVOURITE PLACE IN GLASGOW

great value for money, the wraps are AMAZINGGG and the owner is so nice. I'm happy to go back there every time. probably owe passing this year's exams to this place, spending days on end in the library can be quite daunting. the hummus is excellent too!

Pros: this place made me like falafel again, very fair price, extremely friendly staff

falafel man

I love the falafel man! It’s only £2.50 for a delicious fresh falafel in a flatbread with salad, hot sauce, tahini and pickles, and he’s always super kind - it’s always busy! Also sells tabbouleh and hummus ❤️

Pros: everything

Cons: that it’s not next door to my house

amazing value food

The food here is always top quality, i always have to stop by! You can expect a huge portion for a fraction of the price it deserves! Everything is made fresh to order so expect a 4/5 minute wait and its so popular so there will be long queues. Totally worth it and the owner is super lovely!

Pros: amazing customer service, top quality food, amazing value

Cons: long queues

Best Falafel in Glasgow

£2.50 for a vegan falafel wrap that is absolutely delicious and authentic. Just as good, if not better, than falafel wraps I’ve eaten in Lebanon. I can never resist grabbing one when I am nearby, especially as the customer service is top notch and you always get a bit of good chat whilst you’re waiting.

Pros: Amazing value for money, Quick and delicious

A unique, cheap gem

With Pret and Co-op offering bland sandwiched for £2.75 and above, you'd be mad not to opt for a vegan falafel wrap from Falafel To Go for just £2.50. It's big, delicious and cheap. Can't say fairer than that. They also occasionally do a vegan babaghanoush that's out of this world.

Has a couple of small irritations/things to look out for:

- it can get really busy around lunchtime, with queues forming onto Sauchiehall St as the place is so popular. There's only one guy able to work as it's a tiny booth, so if there's a queue, there's a wait. (about 4 mins per person)
- be sure to specifically request the vegan option, as the guys will assume you want vegetarian and give you the non-vegan hummus.

Pros: Cheap, Tasty food, Simple and unique

Cons: Takes ages if there's a queue

Tasty Filling Falafel!

I walk past this place almost everyday, and just decided to pop "in" today as there was no queue - and I'm glad I did!

For only £2.50 I got a very large falafel wrap, I was very pleasantly surprised at how good and sizable it was at that price, it's definitely worth it! Very tasty wrap, with falafel, hummus and salad.

The man working there was very nice, and he appears to make everything fresh to order, he even asked if I'd like the vegan version.

I'd recommend - you really can't beat it at the price, especially in central Glasgow. I'll definitely be stopping by often.

Pros: Friendly Service , Cheap and Central, Large Tasty Portions
