falafel man - Edit

I love the falafel man! It’s only £2.50 for a delicious fresh falafel in a flatbread with salad, hot sauce, tahini and pickles, and he’s always super kind - it’s always busy! Also sells tabbouleh and hummus ❤️

Pros: everything

Cons: that it’s not next door to my house

amazing value food - Edit

The food here is always top quality, i always have to stop by! You can expect a huge portion for a fraction of the price it deserves! Everything is made fresh to order so expect a 4/5 minute wait and its so popular so there will be long queues. Totally worth it and the owner is super lovely!

Pros: amazing customer service, top quality food, amazing value

Cons: long queues

Best Falafel in Glasgow - Edit

£2.50 for a vegan falafel wrap that is absolutely delicious and authentic. Just as good, if not better, than falafel wraps I’ve eaten in Lebanon. I can never resist grabbing one when I am nearby, especially as the customer service is top notch and you always get a bit of good chat whilst you’re waiting.

Pros: Amazing value for money, Quick and delicious

A unique, cheap gem - Edit

With Pret and Co-op offering bland sandwiched for £2.75 and above, you'd be mad not to opt for a vegan falafel wrap from Falafel To Go for just £2.50. It's big, delicious and cheap. Can't say fairer than that. They also occasionally do a vegan babaghanoush that's out of this world.

Has a couple of small irritations/things to look out for:

- it can get really busy around lunchtime, with queues forming onto Sauchiehall St as the place is so popular. There's only one guy able to work as it's a tiny booth, so if there's a queue, there's a wait. (about 4 mins per person)
- be sure to specifically request the vegan option, as the guys will assume you want vegetarian and give you the non-vegan hummus.

Pros: Cheap, Tasty food, Simple and unique

Cons: Takes ages if there's a queue

Simple and good - Edit

Tiny shop, little more than a box, you stand in the street and order through a window. Had queues when I've been there but that may just be my poor timing. People seem to just hold up fingers to indicate how many falafel wraps they want, not even talking. I think there is only three things on the menu, falafel wrap, hummus or salad (and drinks) but choice isn't the point at this shop, good quality timely convenience is the point here. You get a hot meal, of decent size, cheaper than a pack of sandwiches, tastes great and handed to you in an easily managed package. Still warm enough by the time I got to the platform at Queen St. Thoroughly recommend.

Pros: For once, the lack of options is a plus. Price, quality

Cons: This is Scotland, it rains quite often here,, in case you hadn't noticed.

Tasty Filling Falafel! - Edit

I walk past this place almost everyday, and just decided to pop "in" today as there was no queue - and I'm glad I did!

For only £2.50 I got a very large falafel wrap, I was very pleasantly surprised at how good and sizable it was at that price, it's definitely worth it! Very tasty wrap, with falafel, hummus and salad.

The man working there was very nice, and he appears to make everything fresh to order, he even asked if I'd like the vegan version.

I'd recommend - you really can't beat it at the price, especially in central Glasgow. I'll definitely be stopping by often.

Pros: Friendly Service , Cheap and Central, Large Tasty Portions

Simple and cheap - Edit

This must be the cheapest and probably the healthiest takeaway in Glasgow. Very tasty, with £2.50 for a wrap and just a single person running it expect to wait few minutes during busy periods. Lovely owner, looks like he puts equal amount of care in every falafel dish.

Pros: Cheap, Tasty, Nice owner

Cons: Longer wait when busy

nice guy - Edit

Perfectly adequate takeaway offering a very basic menu.
The owner was having a nightmare as sone in front ordered 8 wraps and as he makes the falafel on the spot he was feeling the pressure.
The food was a bargain and he should up his prices straight away. My falafel wrap was £2.50 and could have done with some more salad but it was fine for the price.

Pros: staff, location
