Delicious concept!

Good gluten free and vegan options. Nice small family-owned place. Tons of drink options too. We had the Mexiganoush in two different styles and both were great! Outdoor seating available too.

Pros: Vegan options, Flavors, Gluten free options

Cons: Small restaurant , Decor

A great vegan-friendly hidden gem!

This place has been on my list pretty much ever since they opened a year ago. A place dedicated to mixing Israeli and Mexican food is a huge win in my book! Falafel is my favorite food ever and Mexican food is one of my fave kinds of food especially when I became fully vegan.

The place is really tucked away on Wheeler. It took me a minute to spot it, but once I did I wouldn’t miss it the next time I come back.

The owners, Jonathan and Rosie were there and even though I asked a while back their vegan options on Instagram, John realized it was me and then ran me through the menu in person which I prefer. He was very helpful and very chill and laid-back. There are a few options already vegan, but pretty much almost everything on the menu can be made vegan, especially since everything is separated and prepared right in front of you, even the two soups they always have on the menu.

I got the classic falafel taco on corn tortilla and the Mexican Street corn chowder soup (just ask for no cheese on top). I have tried other falafel tacos of course, but this is by far the best one I’ve ever had. Not only because it comes vegan already, but because you can taste the authenticity in the falafel. As for the soup, it really helped my sudden elote/corn chowder soup craving since I got one last night since it’s both in one. Now I know where to go in Westchester if I’m craving both of those things.

It’s the perfect place to go right after getting stuff at the Farmer’s Market for some quality food and service. Please stop by
