It’s a great option - Edit
As a previous reviewer said, I’m not sure it’s still called ‘Falafel Ruty’ as nowhere on the signage is that name, but everything else is as described.
Read moreIt’s in the Jomtien night market, sells falafel and is 100% vegan.
You’ll find it in the most north-westerly row of stands in the market (the first row you come to if coming from Pattaya) about halfway down. It’s one guy working there and he sells falafel sandwiches, fries or a falafel set to eat now, or hummus pots, falafel and a few salads to take home and cook with.
At only 60 baht, the hummus pots are quite large and exceptional value, especially because of how hard hummus can be to find in Thailand.
Compared to other vegan-friendly options on the area, the food here is cheap and very good.
Pros: 100% vegan, Great value, Delicious

It’s an option - Edit
: It’s cheap. It’s vegan. It’s in a cool night market. Owner is accommodating.
Read more-: Pita was hard, salad’s been sitting for a while, falafel’s dry and hard 😅
=: I’ve had falafels from another place and it’s strangely similar down to the watery sauce. Wonder why.
*: I ordered the set minus the fries an extra order of falafels. Changed salad to purple cabbage salad.

Tasty and cheap - Edit
I’m not sure the stand is still called Ruty Falafel, if you compare my pics with the old ones the name disappeared, and unfortunately the writing “vegan” too. I mean, they’re very similar but maybe now there’s a different owner and different name? Anyway, they still serve the combo of falafel, salad, hummus and fries with a pita bread, which is a very generous meal for only 100 baht! Plus, they have various salads (3 types of cabbage salad, tomato and cucumber salad, Russian salad) and ofc you can order hummus or falafel alone or customize it according to your preferences. The night market is plenty of room and seats where you can taste your delicious food!

The portions were so generous that we felt stuffed! Appreciate how they make the items fresh, even if it's a bit of a wait. It's well worth it.

Falafel Ruty Restaurant review in Jomtien. (Mediterranean, Arabic Vegan & Vegetarian food) Happily recommended food but best to try for yourself.
Read moreAfter picking up items at the food stall there is seating outside at the front of the Jomtien Night Market overlooking the ocean.
A variety of food stands and market items to explore.
When facing the market from Jomtien Beach Road the Falafel Ruty will be found about half way down the left row of food stands. It is on the right side of the row.
You will be greeted by a beautiful smile from the very friendly owner Nadi Nad.
Samples are offered. Food is made to order.
Falafel (6) 50b = Great, six small balls, cooked fresh
Hummus 50b = Excellent, big portion
Pickled Veggies 30b = Very tasty, cauliflower, carrots & chili peppers – fermented so full of probiotics, great for health of the gut
Pickled Veggies reddish 30b = Good, I thought they were beets but they taste like some other veggie that I am not familiar with – fermented so full of probiotics great for health of the gut
Pickles 20b
Tahini 200b
I also went to one of the many Juice & Smoothie stands for fresh made delicious carrot juice 35 baht and you can get a smoothies for 25 baht. Your choice of a wide variety of fruit to choose from. They also have fresh vegetables other than carrots that you can get juiced.
