Huge variety, Vegan friendly, Convenient location

We found this place by accident walking from our hotel, attracted by the "vegetarian bar" on the window. It's basically a made-to-order menu and an amazing almost all vegan buffet. I went with the buffet and had a plate full of amazing things. My boyfriend went with a falafel wrap which was very generous. The buffet has 3 size plates with three prices. I got the medium plate (a regular sized dinner plate) for 5.50 Euros. The cashier also spotted us a small bowl of falafel since there was none on the buffet at that time.

Pros: Vegan-friendly, Variety, Convenient location

Cons: Non-vegan items are not marked

Great food, great value!

The salad bar is impressive, with lovely combinations. Being Ireland, at least four featured potatoes, but with enough other ingredients to fill one of the sized plates without them. We chose a plate with three falafels and one hot item - melt-in-the-mouth eggplant in a cheesey sauce (sorry, vegans) - and had to take our desserts away because we were so full! The tables aren't crowded, the decor is tasteful, and quiet Beetles music was playing. We'll be back!

Pros: Central location, Delicious help-yourself choices, Space at tables

Cons: Not all vegan

nice but vegan options should be labeled more clearly

I just had food there, it was nice, but it's buffet and not clearly labeled what's vegan, so I asked the staff and they explained but half through the meal I noticed the taste of goat cheese and found little bits of cheese in the salad :( also they served us falafel with aioli after we told them that we are vegan. that was quite disappointing.

Pros: nice

Cons: vegan options should be labeled more clearly

Nice new veg' place!

We found this new vegetarian Lebanese restaurant by random, walking on Dame Street. It is located almost in front of Umi Falafel, the other vegetarian Lebanese restaurant of Dublin. The restaurant offers several seated places but everything is available to take away: sandwiches and lunch boxes of different sizes that you can fill with their hot and cold buffet items. They have a large choice of vegan dishes even if they are not clearly indicated on the menu. You can fill the boxes with what you want.

Their spicy falafel sandwich is excellent, and on the whole I find the food of good quality. We also tried their vine leafs and their hummus with cumin that were really tasty. They also have one vegan dessert (but ask for confirmation since it is not clearly indicated).

The staff is friendly and the place is well located.

Pros: broad range of vegan dishes, one vegan dessert, well located, friendly staff

Cons: should indicate what is vegan or not
