CLOSED: Falafel Fusion

I frequent Middle Eastern/Greek/North African restaurants on the quest to find the right dish, and a new favorite food. I ate here on a whim as it is closer than another falafel restaurant I go to in Downtown Hollywood. I found it to be safe, and food prepared on spot. Everything is a la carte, so be prepared to spend on each item. Overall this is an OK restaurant for a quick bite on the run.

I'd been a regular customer of Falafel Fusion, food was excellent as was the service. It now appears as if they may have changed ownership. Although they have an expanded menu (nice), some things have changed for the worse. 1. I went by at 6:00 for dinner, customers are in the store but the door is locked, no hours posted on the door, no one answered when I tried to call. 2. The following week I went by for lunch, place was mobbed with only one servicing customers. 3. I tried dinner one more time, a bit earlier in the evening. One customer ahead of me, a VERY young (& confused looking) boy waiting on her. Another customer came in, owner came out from the back, waited on new customer BEFORE ME. I waited about 10 minutes, was not even acknowledged until I started to walk out. At that point was asked what I wanted, I told them, but still . . . waiting and waiting. I gave up and left. Will not patronize this facility again.

Their falafel wrap is very reasonable, the bread is though but the food is good and the service is friendly.

Traveling thru this area it was nice to find this spot. They have an extensive selection of options for veg*ns, reasonable prices, and some pretty good food. They also offer fresh juice, although I don't think juice combines well with falafel. Great that they offer it though.
I had a Fusion Falafel and for $6.95 it was quite filling.
One of the owners told me that they plan to have even more veg options soon.
They do offer meat but seemed to keep things pretty separate.
It's a casual place with loud music.
With the few veg places around it definitely deserves to be listed.

Finally a place in Hollywood with more than one choice for vegans!! The fresh appetizing food is served by friendly smiling faces.
