Some of the best in the city - Edit
Note: I have submitted an hours change to 11:00AM until 9:00PM because currently the hours on Happy Cow are wrong. I confirmed with staff the differences. Hope Happy Cow approves the update.
Read moreAnyway, food is really high quality and fresh as can be, weekly rotating toppings, and a little uniqueness at each one of the 3 locations of the mini-chain.
I’ve only tried the “brother’s sandwich” which is a falafel filled pita bomb, but it was great. The only issue is a classic one which is the liquid toppings sit on top or the bottom so the middle, which is where the falafel balls/discs actually sit and you want more moisture, is a little dry.
But the flavors are standout. I really loved the carrots here and the ganoush, although different from other ganoush i’d had in recent years.

Delicious but loud - Edit
The food was absolutely delicious, but the music was so loud I could barely talk to my friend. I would come back absolutely because the food was so good, but don’t expect to have much of a conversation here.

All vegan, yummy, customizable - Edit
The menu is very customizable. Like a vegan falafel Subway. I love that I can add lots of veggies and choose my sauce. Price is fair. Many locations with slightly different menus. Waffle fries are fantastic.

Christmas feast! - Edit
Christmas feast here was delicious! Always a reliable place to get something to eat! Definitely a must go place for anything falafel related! Main set up is either a falafel salad, pita or burger, however they have a variety of side dishes such as gyoza, karage, chill cauliflower bites and also a dinner menu with pizza. Easy access from Ebisu station also.

Good experience - Edit
Had the fallafel rice platter and enjoyed the variety, quantity and freshness of the food. Not fully convinced by the French fries which comes a bit large with the skin. And taste is ma ma.

Great ambiance and food. Best falafel place in Tokyo (of the 3 I’ve been to) - Edit
More spacious than its Roppongi location, a great place to come on a date, to do work, or just enjoy the nice feel of the place. Wireless chargers at most seats was a cool feature, but that didn’t distract me from the food! Really great karage (second to Masaka) and good sized set menus for the price. Lots of tasty topping to try. Will definitely be back.

Small and cozy conveniently located falafel shop in Ebisu. Half and whole falafel sandwich options, and toppings can be selected. In addition, they offers some tasty vegan cakes and everything at a fair price.

Closes early - Edit
We were super disappointed when went to this branch 45mins before closing and we’re told they had closed early because it had been slow. On another occasion we went to the branch in Shibuya and the food was brilliant! Just be careful going any time near closing...

Very satisfying food - Edit
I got the "chicken" dish with pita bread, and my non-vegan friend thought it was very tasty. I enjoyed it as well, and it has a very similar taste and texture to real chicken, which was a bit freaky. The hojicha cake was heavenly. There is more seating at this branch compared to the one in Roppongi. Food is so good here that even non-vegans would enjoy it.

After a bad day, walked in exhausted and came out rested and happy. Delicious Falafel sandwich: top of with extra flavour of choice, but any topping is good there. Amazing dessert, friendly staff and a very nice decor. Highly recommend!

One of my personal favourite restaurants in Tokyo. All the food is amazing (the falafel is just breathtaking) and the prices are good.

Good find - Edit
I chose to come here over the Roppongi location because I got the impression (from HappyCow reviewers) that Roppongi might be more crowded and that this location had a better dessert selection.
Read moreI got the half falafel sandwich and houjicha cake. When you order a falafel dish here, they let you choose two toppings and the sauce (three sauce choices, all of which are variations on tahini). The sandwich was tasty, and the pita was fluffier than the ones I've eaten in New York. The cake wasn't sweet, but definitely still enjoyable.

English below👇

We here at 4AJ are big fans of Israeli food, so we happily trekked all the way to Ebisu to visit Falafel Brothers at their new sister shop. This all-vegan restaurant is small, but cozy, with friendly, English-speaking staff and a cool atmosphere.
I got the Falafel Sandwich set, which came with your choice of three toppings, plus soup and a drink. It was delicious, but a HUGE amount of food. Unless you’re super hungry, I’d recommend getting the half size if it’s your first time.
Ryuji went with Hummus Plate, which comes with one topping. He seemed very pleased with it. The pita bread in particular at Falafel Brothers is fantastic!
Of course if a restaurant offers vegan sweets, we have to try them! We went with the chocolate chip cookie, which was moist and delicious, and the houjicha cake. The cake in particular was a little pricey at 550 yen per slice, but it looked and tasted like it was made with love and care.
It’s always a pleasure to patronize all-vegan establishments. Falafel Brothers is awesome and deserves your hard-earned cash, so go give it to them!
