A must - Edit
This place has existed for a very long time, and having finally settled in a permanent location, they're better than ever! The most striking aspect at this point has to be their range, which is vast to say the least: beans and pulses (most of them organic, packaged or in bulk), various types of sauces, nuts and dried fruits, cassava chips, nut bars, truffles made of dates, and even salt. Wow, I say!
Read moreNot to advertise any particular brand, but Globalen carry a whole host of products from El Puente, and these clearly display on the packaging "fair vegan bio" (organic), where applicable. In other words, no need to go through the list of ingredients and try to ascertain what is and isn't vegan-friendly.
The only downside that I can think of is that some of the items are fairly costly.. but since it's a volunteer-run type of business I certainly doubt the money is going into the wrong pockets.
