Read moreWe asked for food very last minute and she not only provided but exceeded expectations! The food is very reasonably priced and you get a lot for your money. The lady is Chilean, and so is my boyfriend so they were very excited to meet! She even provided us with Chilean specialties. She is still working on opening the bakery - hopefully, we can return to this one day!

Really unique pastries and more - Edit
During our vacation on Horta we ordered twice. First time a vegan brunch box and a cheesecake. Second time empanadas, pasteis and cinnamon rolls. The food was really delicious and reasonable prices. At the empanadas we had some extra wishes, which have been fulfilled without any complaints. We really wish that there will be a FaialVeg store someday on faial.

Delicious vegan take away brunch - Edit
We ordered via Whatsapp (contact information is on the website) while we were on Failal. It’s delicious! And Steph responds very quickly and is very nice. We had the brunch box which included sandwiches, berry juice, cake and tortilla chips. We took the food with us during a hike and it was perfect.

Unique takeaway option for vegans - Edit
It's pretty hard to find good vegan food on the central or western archipelago of the Azores. Hence ordering from Estefanía is a welcome change from home cooking. I especially recommend the pastéis de nata and the mini focaccia. You can find the full menu either on her WhatsApp channel or in her Instagram stories (@faialveg).

Sooo delicious!! - Edit
If you are in Horta (or even Pico island, where we stayed), you have to try this place. We tried different things (a mini chocolate cake, muffins, focaccia, hummus, pasteis de nata, empanadas) and everything was really delicious. I first texted the owner on Instagram and she always answered really friendly. Also to find the place where to pick up the food was very easy with her instructions. I can really recommend this place because especially finding vegan sweet stuff on the Azores is difficult.

Sadly, this place is nowhere to be found on Horta. We asked everywhere. I tried to message them on IG but this was also impossible! We were very disappointed. I gave one star; Happy Cow added the second!

Unique and delightful - Edit
A must go place. If you go to Faial you need to meet with wonder and the name is FaialVeg. Taste a wonderful brownies full of flavour. Delicious lasanha, singular cakes and pies and local sweets ALL VEGAN.
