Mountain Hut with vegan dishes! - Edit
I was baffled at the fact that the menu had a separate page with vegan only options. On the vast majority of mountain huts I can hardly expect dishes just without meat.

Many vegan options! - Edit
Being a mountain cabin, I would have expected the Fahrlechhütte to serve very traditional (read: meat-y) dishes. But I was very surprised that it had a page full of vegan options! Be sure to try out the Heidelbeer-Kaiserschmarrn. They're amazing!

Insgesamt gibt es (aktuell) 7 vegane Speisen, darunter belegte Brote, eine Bohnensuppe, Ofenkartoffeln und Kaiserschmarren. Hatte die Bohnensuppe und den Kaiserschmarren, beide waren ausgezeichnet!

Delicious vegan austrian food! - Edit
We ordered a vegan bean soup as well as a baked potato and a Kaiserschmarrn with blueberries. Everything was absolutely delicious. There's a seperate part of the menu just for vegans.
Read moreNot really a "con", but consider having to wait a bit for the food to arrive, since there's usually quite a lot of people.
