Was very excited to try this cafe. Lovely staff and environment. Looked like a great menu. Chose the sexy greens dish. Was almost unpleasant. It just didn’t work. Wished I’d chosen something safer. $68 for two meals and one coffee.

The music was very loud, thumping rave style music : not a relaxing lunch.
I had the pumpkin (Pumpkin up the beat) mains: it tasted like fish-emulsion and cooked with the skin on, the butternut pumpkin skin was rough and nicked and the dish was quite strange as the soggy baked pumpkin had a sprinkling of raw vegetable crumb at one end and the sauce on the plate tasted like charcoal. We also had the bravocado burger, which was really fresh and delicious (over priced though). The raspberry slice was very nice and the drinks are good.
I would not go again, as the music is disturbing and the menu selection for lunch is too small.
The cake selection was good.

Have eaten here a number of times, most recently this week with my 7yo. Everything is always yummy. If you have a sweet tooth and like milk/thick shakes, be sure to try the Salty Malty Gaytime (no dessert necessary!).

This is the 3rd premises in Geelong, that I have had the pleasure to eat Faceplant food. It seems they keep outgrowing their previous cafe’s. They are now in an converted fire station and it is wonderfully done with inside/outside seating!

I love eating at Faceplant whenever I am in Geelong and highly recommend it!

Honestly the best bought meal I’ve had in years. Me and my (non vegan) boyfriend were insanely impressed. I’ll definitely be driving from Melbourne again just to eat there!

Geelong vegan cafe - Edit
We stopped by here on our visit to Geelong. They weren’t fully open but had a limited takeout menu with about 5 options. My partner and I had the big breakfast and we both loved it! The sauce and feta in particular were fantastic, and the potatoes. Cakes were also fantastic, they have a huge variety of cakes available. We will be back.

Omg smoked tofu and whipped feta on sour dough, all the other ingredients you can see beautifully complimented eachother for a fresh and light...and filling brunch. Really loved the atmosphere and decor. Cake cabinet had a lot of variety. Great staff. Definitely come back again

The food is something else. Incredibly delicious. We chose the Big Brekkie Bomb and a Bahn Mi from the cabinet to share.

I've only eaten here once but remember enjoying my meal, it certainly shows how tasty vegan food can be. More recently I have enjoyed their hot chocolates, it's not too sweet. Plenty of plant-based milk options.
