Amazing breakfast - Edit
Stopped here for breakfast on a tour and was pleasantly surprised to see vegan options on the menu. The food was delicious and an iced coffee with plant based milk was ideal to find.

I was pleasantly surprised to see food such as beyond meat and seitan on the menu because I have not seen those in supermarkets on the island. Note that there is two Fabrika restaurants. The one labeled Bistro/ Burger is suitable for vegans. I believe the pizza/pasta restaurant next to them less so. Try the vegan Pasticada, a traditional Dalmatian food. It is so good !

The staff is very friendly, professional and quick. If you're vegan its the best option when on Vis island (or region). We tried the avocado bruschetta, seitan pasticada (local dish we loved) and the vegan cesar salad. To lick your fingers!

As far as I am concerned, this is the best food place in Komiža! We went here a few times. On one occasion we enjoyed the Avocado bruscetta, and a few days later we ordered the Pašticada and Ceasar salad and it was just amazing! The staff is also VERY friendly and accomodating! It's a must stop, if you are a vegan visting Komiža or Vis in general.

Restaurant is offering variety of food for everyone. Big plus is that they are showing pictures of dishes on board infront of the restaurant, so you know what you can expect. We had vegan ceasar salad and vegan traditional dalmatian pasticada, so we had opportunity to try also something typical croatian in vegan version. Both meals were very tasty and I highly recommend to visit this lovely bistro. Prices are good and stuff is very friendly😄

Unexpected pleasant surprise - Edit
I did not expect to find a vegan place in a secondary city of a small island. Multiple vegan options (we tried the Cesar Salad and the Dalmatian pasticcio and they were top notch). They also offer a great variety of juices. The guy is very cordial and the chef recently introduced this new vegan mayo/sauce which was great.

Very nice location in the most prominent part of the town at the promenade. Serving vegan smoothies and vegan sandwich with smoked tofu and vegetables for breakfast. Many more vegan options available for lunch. Quite expensive though, rather posh.

It’s been tough trying to find vegan options while travelling so coming across a restaurant with several vegan options (and beyond meat patties!) was a dream come true. The noodles are saucy, the salad with seitan was incredible, and the beyond burger was amazing!
Read moreIt’s nice to get some veggies into me and move away from the usual fries I have to stick to because there’s no other options. I went twice in one day to make sure I tried everything vegan on offer! They also have a vegan version of a tradition Croatian meal which is awesome!

Apparently the chef is a former Masterchef Croatia winner. During our stay we dined here twice and we had the bruschetta and a Dalmatian specialty we can't remember the name of. Both were excellent. The harbour was great and the service is good. Also the non-vegan options are great too (so says my partner).

They have vegan sandwich for breakfast, brusketa, gazpacho and vegan wok which are clearly labeled vegan in the menu. There is also a burger with beyond meat. I had the sandwich, it was really huge with a looot of tofu, vegan mayonnaise and avocado and some veggies. It was crispy, tasted nice and was totally ok for the price :)

The restaurant is located on the main Riva, vegan options are marked clearly. Bruschetta is very refreshing and the Beyond Burger is delicious! They have plant milks and to our opinion the best coffee you can find in Komiža.
