Great vegan options - Edit
Ordered Marinara pizza and a big portion of Falafel (5 pcs - never seen them this big) both vegan and delicious. Falafel comes with yogurt dressing so needed to order without it.
Read morePros: Big portions, Delicious food, Quick and efficient service
Cons: There was no vegan gyros available when we ordered, Falafel was listed as 100% plant based but was not, Just one vegan pizza available

Great vegan gyros and great pizzas - Edit
Great vegan gyros and great pizzas.
Read morePrices were good and service was quick but not a lot of friendlyness though. We did not feel very welcome but they were probably really busy.
We ate there three times during our week in Thassos because it was hard to find other good eateries with vegan and vegetarian foods.
Located in the center of Thassos, extremely hygge street.
Pros: Good prices, Delicious gyros and pizzas, Location was great
Cons: Not very friendly staff, Very busy, Not understanding any English

Okay but few options in Thasos - Edit
I had the vegan gyros and it was okay. The meat substitute wasn't anything special. I've had better in Athens but there aren't many options in Thasos. If you're in Thasos for a while it's probably worth checking out.

Probably the best Vegan restaurant on Thassos Island. - Edit
Visited Fabrica in Thassos Town on account of them serving (from what we understand) the only vegan-Gyros on the island. Having rented a car for a couple of days and driving around the island, it was certainly worth visiting the restaurant. Both myself and my girlfriend had the 'Arabic Pita' option which was priced at €6, but other options were available such as the 'standard Pita' option at €5 and the 'portion' - which was salad, a portion of chips, and a portion of the Gyros 'Meat' - for €9. If you are thinking of visiting, whilst the Arabic Wrap was tasty, we would encourage you to go for the more classic Greek Pita option. The bread looked fluffier, and in general. looking more appealing.
Read moreThe Gyros itself was wrapped with chips, a bit of salad, and the 'meat' which was from a brand called 'Mega Meatless'. I've not heard of this brand before, but it seems to have a presence globally. Now, don't come here expecting something on the level of What the Pitta in the UK, etc., it isn't on the same level as something as established as that. I'd give the wrap a 7 or 7.5 out of 10, it was definitely a nice treat, but we decided that we wouldn't make the trip again the next day to specifically eat at Fabrica.
The restaurant also served 'Marinara' style pizzas which, unfortunately, weren't too common around the Island. The pizzas looked very appetising and were baked in real pizza ovens. Local 'artisanal' beers were also served on tap.
Pros: Multiple Vegan Options, Only Faux-Meat Option on the Island, Good Selection of Drinks
Cons: Self-service only

Delicious Vegan & GF Gyros - Edit
Delicious vegan & gf gyros and falafel. The brand used is Mega Meatless which is 100% plant based with a large selection also gluten free- their website gives details on products. As a GF vegan my option was without pita bread but the amount of food served meant this wasn’t a problem. I opted for the €9 choice and had gyros, chips, vegan mayo & salad. It was one of the best fake meats I’ve ever had! My husband isn’t gf so tried both the gyros in pita and the falafel wrap, he loved both. We went 4 times in 2 weeks, it was so good. Thassos is great for traditional dining and a lot of it is vegan friendly but I was just really nice to have some “fast food”. Opposite Fabrica there is also a gelato shop which has loads of sorbets, including chocolate, so it’s the perfect date night location!

Excellent Food & Great People - Edit
We visited Fabrica in Thassos Town on our day trip to the Archeological Museum. We were walking down 18is Octovriou, which is the shopping street that leads away from the museum, when we spotted the fresh falafel on their signage, then were even more pleased to see the plant based section of their menu! We had falafel, vegan gyros and vegan Caesar salad. They also have an entire pizza section with vegan options and delicious sorbet and vegan ice cream options too. Really tasty food with fast service and friendly staff. The owner even called us a taxi to take us back to our hotel. Fantastic!
