Delicious, wholesome food - Edit
This cute spot has an extensive variety of vegan options, from being able to add a tofu scramble to most breakfast items (making them vegan) to having lots of vegan proteins (life tofu and homemade falafel) to go with their hearty bowls. My favorite is the Satay Cauliflower Bowl! I also love the lentil dal soup and roasted red pepper soup! For a restaurant that is not entirely vegan, they’ve definitely paid close attention to creating a menu that caters to all diets. They also have smoothies (cacao coconut is my fav), alcohol, green juice, and a bookstore downstairs with lots of female authors and books on spirituality, self help, etc. It’s a special place! I’d give it 5 stars if I could (you can only do that for entirely vegan places).

Lovely find, made us very happy - Edit
So we finally found Nema café only to find that I'd mistaken what time it closed and they were closing. I asked if they knew of any other vegan friendly places nearby and a waiter suggested Fable.
Read moreLots of vegan options, has different seating areas and after going downstairs to the library area and almost missing the tiny "secret" entrance to the pretty outdoor space, we were so happy to see one of the four tables in the patio free (photo is from us having outlasted every single patron on the patio because we ate so much!).
We we're uncertain as to which wine to get and our waitress said she would give us a taste of each so that we could decide. Very nice touch.
We got the hoisin pulled mushroom wrap, Caesar salad with homemade falafel, and the sauté cauliflower wrap with tofu instead of the halloumi which made it vegan and it was soooo good. The falafel in the Caesar salad is baked not fried, really tasty. Everything was fresh and delicious .
And dessert: get the Twix Bar, omg. we got the banana bread which was also very good but that dark chocolate Twix ...We will be back to have breakfast/brunch!
