Fun experience but with some buts - Edit
This was a fun experience! We went and got the vegan $45 pre fixe tasting. All staff were very pleasant.
Read moreThe first course of appetizers were all good, the broccolini and farmers salad second course were very good and we really liked the cabbage pastrami and lions mane birria. All very tasty but I wouldn’t say as good as other veg restaurants in the area.
I think the biggest draw back was that we paid $45 a piece and the portions were small enough we didn’t leave full. So if you have a larger appetite and the money for it, I would definitely recommend getting the 5 course option instead of the 3. There’s a chance we will come back and try that in the future!
Pros: Entirely vegan menu, Knowledgeable staff about veganism, Food was all around good
Cons: Small portions

Classic big price little food restaurant - Edit
It was a fun experience and some of the dishes were good, but the portions are tiny and quite expensive. For the prices I expect much higher quality flavors.

Satisfying 5 Course Vegan Tasting Menu! - Edit
Food was delicious, portion sizes were satisfying without making us feel too stuffed, wine pairing pours were generous, staff was super friendly! We were happy we splurged on a fancy meal while traveling for a special occasion. I happily paid over $300 for the 5 course vegan menu for two, with wine pairings & an additional course we didn’t want to skip! At that price point, I really wanted the flavors & presentation to blow my mind. It wasn’t the most delish meal I’ve ever had, but we certainly enjoyed it a ton. The vibe of the restaurant also seemed too casual for this price point- staff in cotton logo tees & a pretty standard cafe aesthetic in the dining room. Expected it to look & feel more fancy, but it didn’t dull our experience with the great service or the food.

Pros: Separate vegan menu, Flexible options for additional courses, Delish food left us satisfied & not too full.
Cons: Casual aesthetic for such a high price point, Not entirely vegan, Wanted mind blowing flavors for such a high cost.

Michelin-quality vegan menu - Edit
Unbelievable Chef’s Table fixed price menu. Great wine pairings. We had four delicious items and four wines to go with it. Super creative items — I don’t know how they came up with it. Things like pastrami-style cabbage, carrot tamales, and a deep-fried stick of something that was mostly hummus ingredients? I could have sat there all day eating whatever they gave me.

Excellent and creative! - Edit
I had the fennel bulb entre it was good but didnt wow me. the radish starter was very good but not amazing. the vegan vanilla ice cream was delicious! my spouse had the cabbage pastrami which he said was amazing but over salty! his starter was the roasted broccolini also very good. his dessert was the spring pea sponge cake with carrot ice cream which was amazing although not vegan.

Amazing food - Edit
This one opened recently. It has a small vegetable focused menu and almost all dishes can be made vegan (everything except two dishes at the time of our visit). Dishes are clearly elevated with creative cooking and nicely decorated plates. We did the Chef's counter with 4 courses and had a lovely night. The team was incredibly welcoming. Both food and drinks were excellent. We particularly enjoyed the Hummus Fritters and the Mushroom Barley Risotto.
