Vegan Pizza Options - Edit
We ordered a pizza for delivery while at the beach. When the delivery driver dropped it off, he told me I was gonna enjoy my pizza and I did. I love the fact that they have a vegetarian/vegan section on their menu so that makes it easy to decide. Even though my parents are not vegan, they enjoyed the pizza immensely. I would order from them again, wish we had one in Charlotte.

The gluten free vegan crust was great (crunchy, thin crust style), the cheese is Daiya, and there's lots of veggie options. For toppings I chose heirloom tomatoes, arugula, caramelized onions, and pine nuts. It was delicious! And the slices I brought home reheated well in the microwave (~15 seconds). There's no tofu, tempeh, or vegan meats, but this is still a great option!

Located at Broadway at the beach. Nice atmosphere, we sat at the bar but I bet out back would of been nice as well. They had an area out on the boardwalk. My boyfriend and I both ordered Vegan pizzas from the “Veggin Out” section of the menu. I got Pandoras Box with out feta and sub vegan cheese (no butter) and Andrew got the Baja 1000 sub vegan cheese (no butter). They bartender asked if we were allergic and we told him no, just vegan. The pizzas looked amazing when they arrived, about half way through my first slice I realized they had in fact put feta on my pizza. I instantly felt sick to my stomach and was no longer hungry. I give them 3 starts because Andrew’s pizza was really good and made correctly. I am disappointed that I ate feta, after realizing it’s taste I could in fact see the melted crumbles. I did not ask for a remake, on the receipt I could see the server did in fact ask for no feta. This was a mistake from the kitchen.

Solid choice for vegans - Edit
The vegan pizza crust is also gluten-free, and it’s very thin but unobjectionable. There are no vegan protein options for pizza toppings, but they do offer vegan cheese and many fruits and vegetables. Several salads can be made vegan and there are some vegan appetizers, such as sweet potato fries. It’s a little pricey, but the outdoor seating overlooking the lagoon is lovely.

Vegan Option at Broadway at the Beach - Edit
Got takeout here yesterday and it looks like they may have limited their menu options compared to the description here on happy cow. I did not see any options for vegan sausage crumbles or chik'n wings.
Read moreThey did however have 6 options plus the build your owns on a dedicated vegan section for 12 inch pizzas with either a gluten free or cauliflower crust. Additionally I had a great conversation with someone in charge who said that they just spoke with their wife who makes the pizza dough and from now on (March 24, 2021) they are going to stop using eggs in their whole wheat crust. I would call to confirm, but if true would allow for an additional crust option and the ability to order vegan pizzas in larger sizes.
My only complaint would be the need for some variety on their vegan speciality pizzas. They have a healthy cheeseless veggie pie, a Baja with black beans and salsa, then 4 pies with different combinations of veggies and Daiya cheese. The build your own also includes a soy ricotta option but I didn't try it or check if it was vegan. I would love to see some additional protein options like bringing back the vegan sausage crumbles, adding tofu like Mellow Mushroom, having a buffalo vegan option, and then having some additional specialty pies with more than just the vegetables.
As for the pizzas we got the vegetables were very fresh and the gluten free crust was light and tasty.
All in all I bumped them up to 4 stars because of their kindness and willing to expand their menu. While their prices and quality is on par with the other vegan pizzas options in town the experience I had with the staff inclines me to choose them in the future especially if they continue to add options.

They added feta cheese - Edit
I asked for the Pandora box. Unfortunately it came with Feta cheese. I only realized it too late since it was all melted together.

I was a bit surprised since they have a separate vegan menu. I also called them to let them know and they “couldn’t” find my order.
I’d be careful with this place. You may eat real dairy without knowing it.
