Terrific Thai food in the Quad Cities - Edit

Exotic Thai has a lovely quiet ambience and serene atmosphere. Even though it's a small restaurant, they do a lot with the space to make it appealing. The food is delicious and well spiced. My favorite is the Spicy Basil Noodles with veggie chicken. (Finding seitan and/or veggie meats at restaurants in Iowa isn't super common, and so it's nice to have the option.) It usually comes with egg, and so you have to request that it be omitted. The portions are enormous and easily provide enough for two meals. While they don't label their vegan options, they are happy to make substitutions and alterations to their dishes.

Pros: Generous portions, Lovely ambience, Mouthwatering food

Cons: The vegan options aren't marked.

They only had a few vegan options. What they had was good, though a little over-priced, I thought. Vegan items are not identified as such on the menu. You have to ask.

Pros: tasty

Cons: few vegan options, over-priced

I have eaten Thai a lot of places: Denver, Chicago, Switzerland, and there is still something that keeps me coming back here.

They have some reinvisions of food with their new fusion menu, and the classics are great too.

Pros: Healthy, Great, Not too expensive
