Exki - Edit
Another bad experience and their espresso was absolutely gross (they didn’t even have a proper espresso machine). Vegan options are super limited. There’s more choice for vegetarians though.

Quick and healthy - Edit
Quick healthy snack. Vegan food seemed mostly limited to various salads high in protein like lentils or kale.

Gross and overpriced - Edit
I stopped for lunch at EXKi after touring the Opera Garnier nearby. I expected this to be a Pret a Manger type place with at least a handful of affordable vegan to go options. However, this was not the case and I do not recommend this place to any vegans.
Read moreThis cafe features a variety of mostly vegetarian to go options like quiche, sandwiches, salads, etc. However, none of their hot meals or soups are vegan friendly, and neither are their sandwiches. The only vegan options are one or two overpriced salads that honestly do not look very good, a veggie springroll wrapped in rice paper, a rice and falafel bowl, a rice and zucchini bowl, a cup of oats mixed with berries, and fruit cups. Their 'bowls' sit in the fridge with their salads and look unappetizing and stale.
I tried the Zucchini and rice bowl. It consisted of white rice with zucchini in this yellowish tomato and bell pepper sauce on top. This small portion was about 9 euro. Both the rice and zucchini were pretty terrible, but the sauce was the true horror. It tasted a bit like vomit, in my opinion, and only served to make an already terrible meal significantly worse. It also made me feel sick for the rest of the day.
Again, I do not recommend this place at all. Vegan or otherwise, their food does not look appetizing. If you are vegetarian you'll likely be better off, but there are much better places in Paris to grab a bite.
Pros: nice decor, quick
Cons: bad food, expensive, not very vegan friendly

Great for a quick and healthy bite - Edit
Great health food place to grab some quick take away or sit down and enjoy a coffee and salad. Their food looks healthy and fresh. All ingredients are listed and they use some helpful label to easily tell if something is vegetarian, dairy-free or gluten-free.
Read moreThe interior is simple but nice with a bicycle theme. It is self-service, but the staff was quite friendly and helpful.
They could improve by having a vegan label as well; by having more vegan options (there were no vegan desserts for example); and by using real glasses, plates and cutlery (they only had disposable ones).
Prices were more than fair. The location is really convenient, right next to Lafayette. I will certainly be back here again for a quick bite.
Pros: Healthy, Ingredients listed and some labeling, Good prices
Cons: No vegan label, Could do with more vegan options, Disposable glasses, dishes and cutlery
