not satisfying - Edit
Me and my girlfriend both got the hotdog. The portions were small and it didn’t taste very nice, in fact it was tasteless. A tiny salad of a few rocket leaves accompanied it and some potato wedges which were the only good thing. Very expensive for such a small portion. (8 pounds)
On the other hand, we also had a brownie and millionaire which were delicious! Would recommend their desserts to anyone.

underwhelming - Edit
I've been here a few times and each time I leave feeling underwhelmed. The food is good but incredibly expensive and I don't feel you get enough of the food. This last time I went with my toddler daughter and we ended up waiting over 50 minutes for our order, after 30 minutes nothing had been said so I had to ask where our food was. The staff are friendly but not overly so and I didn't get an apology until right at the end when I had to get the food to take away as it had taken far too long. This place could be fantastic but it's not there yet and I have the feeling it is too pretentious to realize changes are needed.
Pros: Good food, organic, raw options
Cons: Expensive, slow service, not overly friendly

Quality vegan food and drinks - Edit
At last a cafe in Glastonbury that does a decent vegan cheese
The cashew cheese is top quality, compares very well with some I had in Arcata in Northern California a few months ago
The 'Tristan' sandwich I had a choice of cashew cheese or hummus, herbed tomato, red onion, black olives and oregano with a choice of side of fries, wedges or potato salad, I had the potato salad, not often that gets on any menu
The sourdough roll it was served it was excellent, just the right crusty balance, good flavour too ... the filled roll and salad was accompanied by complimentary leaves and sprouts
This meal would stand up against the best California kitchen, outstanding for this country
The chai latte was of similar quality, a rare treat
Pros: Tasty vegan cheese, Quality of the food, Service
Cons: None

delicious cake - Edit
Unfortunately I only had time to get a take away coffee but staff were friendly & the coconut-chocolate cup I had was amazing! It's out of my way but I'm definitely going back to try another flavour cupcake & one of the many vegan options on the lunch menu.
Pros: appeared to have lots of options on the menu
Cons: not local to me

Amazing Vegan options food, drink and desserts - Edit
Let’s just say I was in heaven! I could eat nearly everything on the menu as was mostly vegan and gluten free. The drinks had so many variants to choose from and it the sweet selection was vast! I wish I lived nearby as would be there at least once a week... would love to be more but I couldn’t afford it.

Had the £5 vegan buffet plate and it was so much healthy yumminess! The place is a lovely place to while away some time too. And lovely staff.

Lovely atmosphere - Edit
I absolutely fell in love with Excalibur, originally we went in for a quick cup of coffee but as soon as we saw the menu we had to stay for dinner. I recommend the turmeric hot chocolate and fungi pizza. Unfortunately they had run out of raw desserts. But the staff there were so friendly and helpful and just seemed really bubbly. The whole menu seemed delicious and the atmosphere at the restaurant is just very warm.

Book a table! - Edit
My husband and I were very charmed by Excalibur. After a very nice coffee and peruse of the menu in the morning when it was quiet, we booked a table for lunch and then walked up Glastonbury tor. We were so glad we did book as by 1 p.m. the place was heaving. We loved the concept and ethos of organic, locally sourced, wildcrafted food. The atmosphere is enhanced by air filtration to remove pollutants, lovely wooden furniture (comfortable chairs) and calm, natural colours on the walls. The flow and feel is inviting and light. Now for the food: the breakfast menu is served all day and there was great choice with lots of other lunch options too including plenty of gluten free/nut free options. What we had was very tasty, handcrafted and served with a smile. Not the cheapest place in the town to eat but we thought it was well worth the extra pound or two for the unique experience we had. Will be back.

Not good - Edit
I have here the worst vegan burger ever. It was really hard to eat, sour and sharp. Expensive £10 for just a burger, need to pay extra for sides.

Too pretentious for me - Edit
The food was fairly tasty here, my BF loved the pizza, but it was expensive for what it was.
The experience was rather spoilt for us by the cafe being full of hipsters who seemed to only be there for the free wifi. The staff were quite nice but overall it was somewhere to eat quick and leave.
Pros: Healthy food that tastes quite nice, Pick what you want
Cons: Expensive, Poor atmosphere, Not much gluten free stuff on the main menu

So posh! - Edit
At first I only thought 'expensive' but ohhh it was worth it. Never been so full, so so delicious and basically all vegan. Mine was raw vegan and you could never tell! Definitely going to return and try the salad bar, too! My omni mum loved this.
Pros: Posh, Detailed, Tasty & filling
Cons: Expensive

Not very tasty Vegan food - Edit
This is a weigh as you go kind of place, where you pick all the foods you want from a buffet onto your plate and then they weigh it and you pay for the amount on your plate. The plate weighed a ton and so the food came out quite expensive. The food was nothing to write home about - very bland, basic veggies, no flavor. Yes it was all vegan but not at all tasty. The service wasn't that great either neither was the ambiance in the restaurant.
Pros: Vegan
Cons: Bland, tasteless

Amazing! - Edit
I love everything about this place. Definitely the best place to eat in Glastonbury.
You can tell that they only source premium ingredients and create their food from the heart. Everything is oozing love! Almost everything is vegan (the only exception being a couple of items that contain bee pollen or honey). There are lots of raw and gluten-free options. The labeling is very clear. The menu is amazing and my friends all raved about the food they ate there too.
It's the perfect place to enjoy dinner for a special occasion; or to grab a super healthy juice; or to go have a cup of afternoon tea (they use Pukka teas - yay!) and a slice of raw pie.
Can't wait to go back soon!
Pros: Amazing food, Mostly vegan, Great selection
