Surprisingly good - Edit
They have very limited vegan main course options, this might be the only one, but the vegetable fried rice with tofu was surprisingly good, especially for airport food. Well seasoned rice, steam hot, and generous portion. It tastes better than it looks.

One of few vegan-friendly options at EWR - Edit
I can’t say much to recommend this fast food joint except that it has about 3 or 4 vegan or veganizable options, which is about as many as all the other places at EWR combined (as of mid-2022).
Read moreThere were no humans in sight when I ordered: just an iPad. Fortunately the robot allowed me to customize my “pad Thai” by removing egg and adding broccoli and tofu. What came out wasn’t much to do with pad Thai (not remotely authentic), but it was not bad as a generic Asian-ish noodle dish with a few veggies.
Beats a bag of chips.
