nice place, food ok - Edit

The bar is really nice, good vibe in there and the decoration is really good. There are plenty of vegan options, though I wasn't overly impressed with the burrito I had (the vegendary, which seemed bland without the hot sauce). Staff are nice though.

Cheap but meh, not worth the calories! - Edit

I've been here a few times, first time the service was so slow and our food was overcooked. Second and third time the service was great and friendly but the food was tasteless or just overly spicy, the guac tasted old. There could be better vegan options for dessert, the churros come with strawberry sauce to be made vegan? Gross. Just get in vegan chocolate sauce! You are round the corner from a vegan grocery store for goodness sake!! Could be way better.

Pros: Cheap, Friendly Staff

Cons: Slow service sometimes, Tasteless food, Poor quality vegan ingredients

Good portons, yummy food - Edit

I didn't actually get to go into this place, but ordered from it online. I got the No Pollos Hermanos (breaking bad reference) burrito and guacamole on the side. It was a little spicy but good. They had at least 3 vegan burritos to choose from, and a few vegetarian ones as well.

No frills, but really great - Edit

Really pleased to find 2 dedicated vegan burritos on the menu, with all other vegan options (sides etc) clearly marked too. I had the vegan chipotle chicken burrito with spicy fries and I couldn't fault either. Super tasty and pretty massive! Decent beers too and everything was reasonably priced.

Vegan Mexican - Edit

Evil Eye is a great for vegan options - we enjoyed/shared (I didn't really want to share) two build your own burritos with the vegan chipotle chicken and 'just veg'. The wraps were filled to bursting and full of flavour - highly recommend! Staff are relaxed and friendly and the bar has a great vibe, probably a great spot for a hangover...

Pros: Vegan options!, Friendly chilled staff and atmosphere, Bargain!

Cosy corner - Edit

Small bar / eatery in a popular student area of Liverpool. Choice of around 4 vegetarian burrito options and some vegan choices too.
Food quality is fairly basic. The sweet corn fritters were horrible and soggy. Halloumi tacos were okay and I enjoyed the sweet potato fries. The food is cheap and filling but not cooked to a high standard.

A delicious experience! - Edit

I had the "Vegendary"-Burrito which is stuffed with baked beans, baby corn and lots of veggies. I loved it because you could taste every single ingredient. The place is pretty small but cozy. Definitely recommendable!

Pros: Amazing spices and ingredients, Cozy place, Sometimes live music

Cons: Not many vegan/vegetarian options

Fantasic for vegans - Edit

I am writing this whilst my belly is still gloriously full - just had the most delicious vegan lunch. Marinated mock chicken burrito stuffed with rice, veg, guacamole, beans and pico de gallo, with a side of spicy fries followed by cinnamon churros with strawberry dip... yum yum! Really friendly and chatty staff in a fun Mexican themed bar - will definately return.

Pros: Plenty of choice for vegans.

Cons: Nada.
