Lucky to have this little shop! - Edit
So many vegan products even though it’s not a dedicated vegan store. They also carry lots of local vegan products like Honey’s Ice Cream, Sweets from the Earth baked goods, and various local vegan cheeses. The woman who works behind the counter most days is so helpful and friendly. A little expensive, but also a lot of stuff you can’t easily find other places. They sell a lot of frozen products so you can stock up.

Great Store, Nice Owner - Edit
I'm here a lot. Roncesvalles is a bit of a vegan dead-zone, so having Evergreen nearby helps with the groceries.
Read moreThe staff is all very helpful, they have many vegan and vegetarian items that are hard to find otherwise, and they're open til 6 on Sundays which is somewhat rare in Roncesvalles.
I'd recommend the store to anyone in the area. You still need to pop over to a market for your produce, but everything else Evergreen almost always has.
They also offer a 5% discount if you flash your Toronto Vegetarian Association card.
Pros: Broad Selection of Products, Friendly Staff, Open Sundays
